Hi Elda,
\015\012You may need to know this little trick when trying to repair a Maytag dishwasher with a drain problem. This trick applies to Maytag dishwashers with model numbers starting with PDB, such as PDB2430AWE.
\015\012After checking the usual suspects, check the drain solenoid. Two tests are required here: first, check the continuity of the solenoid coil; second, make sure it’s getting 120vac during the drain cycle. If either condition fails, then replace the drain solenoid.
\015\012Now, here’s where the trick comes in. You may find that, after replacing the solenoid (or before!), the solenoid plunger flings out when it’s time to drain. Dontcha hate when that happens? The solution is stunningly simple and, best of all, the part costs less than a buck. How’s that for the deal of the day?
\015\012The problem is a broken lifter;
\015\012To replace this humble little part, first take off the top cover on the dishwasher motor. Do this by unscrewing the tower, removing the spray arm and pulling the cover off. Once you get all that schtookus outta the way, you’ll expose the lifter linkage. You can tell the lifter is bad because it should be in the shape of an “L.” If’n it ain’t, then the metal arm of item 34 will have too wide a range of motion and, as a result, the solenoid plunger will drop out.
\015\012Have a nice day. Please donot forget to rate.

Smeg DWF612WH dishwasher has developed a leak. Water comes out of the rectangular hole on the side of the water softner used to mount what looks like a level or pressure switch. A few seconds after the fill valve opens water leaks out, not a lot just a small trickle. After the washer has filled and goes ito its cycle, it does not leak again. Over the past weeks the problem has got progressively worse.

I have since been told by the owner that he took the door apart himself. I pulled out the dishwasher from the cabinet and ran it. I could see the leaks at the top on both sides of the door latch. Water leak have the Ge triton dishwasher (Model # GSD5320D02BB, bought it n 2001) and currently have very small amount of water leaking out of the door during a run cycle. I did check levels when running and that seems to be fine......meaning the dishwasher is level and not an over-flow problem. My next thought is maybe it is a faulty door gasket. So my question is, where is the door gasket located and how do I replace it? (and where do I order this part from?). Looked for diagrams to follow and

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

Once the machine is on, it pumps the water through the salt container and through these 3 pronged blue container (located on the side). One of these prongs leaks. I believe it is the washer. Door leak The dishwasher is 2 and half year old and is randomly leaking for at least one year or even more. The leak originally occurred at both lower ends of the door, close to the hinges. The leak was about one liter and the door panel sound insulation soaked with water. After door panel was removed, the leak location was identified at both ends of the lower door gasket. The outside part of the U-shaped gasket was filled with water, and eventually water was spilled on the floor. The leak can g
