The Intake/ Drain light is on. It appears that the machine is not draining and that possibly the pump is not working properly. The drain line appears to be clear though I haven't pulled out the unit to check the drain line at the machine. Any suggestions?

Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. I filled the base of the dishwasher with water to see if it drains properly. It seems to be draining, but also leaking out of the base as well..? Any ideas?.

Hi, I have a Siemens SE44 dishwasher with Aquastop, which I bought recently. It was doing great for first 3-4 wash cycles and then it stopped functioning :( Now all it does is let the water in, and then drains it out- it doesnt do anything else. I can hear the water going in and then the machine drains the water, and this repeats. I tired resetting the dishwasher, checked the drain pipe, aquastop etc, and all seem to be in order to me. Any suggestions? Many thanks, stonerockyy

I have a Bosch dishwasher model no. SHU66C05UC that does not drain properly. After checking for a clear drain tube and finding no problem. I removed the left side panel and found that the red float was not rising in the tube. If I pull up the trigger device to engage the pump switch the machine drains. What causes the float to stay down and what is required to free it? Thanks for any help.

No water coming into machine. Programme not running because the machine is still trying to fill. If I add water the machine does drain. Was cleaned with a good dishwasher cleaner only last week. Nothing to moved or changed yesterday before it stopped working properly.

Turns out that the dishwasher had a leak in the bottom. No water could be seen leaking out because Bosch machines have a cut-off valve that means if a tray in the bottom of the machine fills up with water, the float valve doesn't allow anymore water ... Dishwashers

Jackson jp-24b purchased this machine used, cant figure out how to work it. I flip the auto cycle on, and then the power switch. Our haier, hdw101wh dishwasher is not washing properly. Water does not seem to be coming into the machine when it should and the water has not drained properly from the bottom. When we opened the dishwasher up mid cycle to see what was wrong the element was on, even though there was no water.

Our Bosch dishwasher #SHU9922UC (FD8007) will not turn on properly. Only its drain pump starts -- and keeps running -- when it's powered on and the door's closed. Pressing the two "drain cancel" buttons for more than 3 seconds doesn't help. Neither does cutting off power, then turning it back on in the hopes of resetting the machine's 'computer'. No water inflow occurs. Help?

I had a similar issue after I replaced a bad drain pump, seems the logic got hung up.. I poured in a pitcher of water, closed the door, it drained and was then ok - worth a try. If not, you may have a bad water level switch. ... Dishwashers

Hello my dishwasher seems to only do half a job at a time (and the timings for the programmes have increased dramatically). It will do a programme, but not drain, leave a puddle and leave everything dripping wet (no drying) then if I press reset the machine will drain (so the pump is working) but after resetting the problem remains and the programmes continue to not work properly. Can I solve this myself, or is this a problem with the 'computer'? Please help.......!

My kitchenaid KUDI01DL dishwasher began making a lot of noise while running, then subsequently decided not to circulate the water around to wash the dishes. It sounds like the motor is running (maybe) but there is no washing action going on. The machine will fill, drain and heat the water but nothing else. Is it likely that the pump/motor assembly has ceased to function properly? thanks...
