Purchased in 2003. Dishes were exquisitly clean till 2008. Our water heater temp was set at 140 temp. This heater was replaced with a heater now set at 125 temp. In the past two years dishes are nowhere as clean on the the normal start setting. Should I go to the Pots and Pans start setting to get hotter water or should I turn up my water heater? All this is assuming that water is not hot enough. Does the washer heating element ever burn out?

Try turning on your water at the sink for a while on hot let it run then start the wash cycle that should help. what that will do is let the cold water run out of the pipes and therefore you will have a hot water start. ... Kenmore Dishwashers

I have a new Frigidaire FDB1050RE diswasher. I ran it for the first time set on normal wash and pressing both the Hi-temp wash and heat dry button. This cycle is supposed to take a total of 89 minutes to complete including the drying cycle. After 89 minutes it was still in the wash cycle so I cancelled it to preserve sanity. In the instruction manual it states that the water temperature must be above 120°F. Our building's water heating unit is set at 110°F. Why there is a lower temperature

It should still work pretty well but you probably can't use the high temp wash because it will take too long for the dishwasher to heat up the water enough to satisfy the high temp washer thermostat. If the thermostat's calibrated closing temperature ... Frigidaire Dishwashers

Dishwasher (Model # SHU6806UC), unit is about 8 years old, very light use, less than once a month, and no previous problems. Turned on unit and after about 10 minutes, I found water on floor coming from dishwasher. Turned unit off and turned off water shut-off valve. Removed dishwasher from cabinet. Found mice had chewed a hole in water discharge hose under unit, inspected all hoses, and found another hole chewed in the 13" flex hose in the front of the unit. Also found the float chewed to alm

I just had a Haus slimline dishwasher delivered and have tried to set it up. I have followed the instructions to the letter but the water inlet hose keeps leaking out water when you move the dishwasher into place after attaching the hoses. I have tried the manufacturer's hose they provided and two spare i have in my cupboard. I even went out and bought some 3/4" washers and added extra washers to the inlet hose, but it still leaks. What is wrong?

I have the two drawer dishwasher. It's about 10 years old. The top drawer continues to work OK but for the last three attempts when I run the bottom drawer water gets out into the drip pan below and gives the F1 signal. I can dry the drip pan out and clear the F1 signal so the top drawer works. But running the bottom drawer causes water to leak again with the resultant F1 signal. There is very little water in the bottom drawer (just a little in the filter bowl) so I think the pump is pumping

Hi, I have a Miele dishwasher G2150 that after 7-10 minutes on any cycle the rinse, dry, and end lights flash amber. I called the 800 number and they walked me through the diagnostic sequence and they said it was an error code 12 something to do with water restriction. I removed and checked the bottom "L" filter(clean), the wheel (moves freely, not dirty), and the grey in line filter screen on the intake hose,( clean also). I can feel the water coming through the intake hose, water comes in thro

No water in anti-overflow pan, it's dry, float switch is working. Vacuumed out any/all water, Have replaced water inlet valve. Main circuit board shows no sign of solder joint disruption. Removed rear toe-plate to detect leak. Leak caused by broken drain hose. Hose replaced. To do this the unit was tipped forward onto its front door to allow access to the base area. Water allowed to drain out the front base area. Unit re-assembled but now does not switch on. Water connected. Base-plate dry. No water was detected at upper-front control panel. Power is connected and reaching unit ( multi-meter test ). Tipping the unit forward seems to be the cause. Is there any fuse,

I set up a drip system years ago and now am looking to replace it (old, worn, leaks) but the problem is this-I can't push any fitting (be it connectors, tees, etc) onto the main hose. Both hose and fittings are 1/2''. The fittings in the original system were not near as difficult to use-I also tried hot water (fittings) and ice water (hose), nothing. Is there any size difference between the old and new components?

I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (model 665.1315), and the dishwasher will run through the wash cycle as expected, but when it gets to the heated dry cycle , it doesn't appear to dry. Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

I have a built-in Bosch dishwasher SHU 4302 UC. It no longer drains the water out at the end of all the cycles. I have tried everything mentioned in the booklet (make sure water is hot, use the jet-dry stuff, make sure outflow hose doesn't allow water back in). I have to siphon out at least a good bucketful of water. (Also, only the regular wash cycle works, which is fine with me.)

I have an older Bosch dishwasher I just hooked up in my condo. Hi, I've got DS 603 single draw dishwasher Ser. No. CPM 739878, It has given a fl code for the flood switch. I have removed the draw and made the observation that the lower steel housing has partially flooded, hence the code. I intend to replace the flexible hoses Input and discharge hose. I am wondering once I replace the hoses, dry the housing and associated printed circuit bourd area should the fault code reset its self or is there further tech. assist required. The draw was manafactured

In the catch basis there is a printed circuit board that contains a sensor that detects moisture. Once throughly dry however, the sensor will no longer sense moisture and the flood code will cease and desist.BUT before replacing the hoses, (alo ... Fisher and Paykel Dishwashers
