Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

Our neff dishwasher has suddenly started to go wrong. When you switch it on a push a setting, it fills but does not wash. After about 10 mins it even drops the powder cube but still has not washed, it just does nothing. Really appreciate it if someone could help

If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:

Water-heating cycle
Timer
\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012Water-heating cycle\015\012\015\012Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

\015\012
    \015\012
  • On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

    \015\012
  • On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012Timer\015\012\015\012Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

After moveing to a new house our Bosch dishwasher is not washing the powdered soap out of the holder, then bakes on a nice film of soap on all of the dishes. When the cycle is done a fairly solid ball of soap is still in the tilt-out soap holder. I have looked for obstructions and cleaned out the screens but still no luck fixing it. We think the soap holder didn't used to end in the tilted out position but we can't remember for sure.

Dishwasher problem It is a "classique" dishwasher , about 8 years old, but used only about 50 times max. The dishes are not getting out clean - the washing powder is smeared over them. Most of the dish washing powder (or tablet, tried it both) is not comming out of the powder compartment, despite the fact that we find the compartment open when the washing cycle is done. Sure it is just a "smal quick fix thing" but have not idea what it could be. Pleaseee help!

Hi, Just moved into a place with a DU4500B Magic Chef. After a cycle there is still a clump of wet soap in the main wash cup dispenser and the dishes aren't clean. Yesterday I tried putting the soap in the pre wash and and main wash dispensers but leaving the main wash soap dispenser OPEN rather than clicking it shut, and there was still left over soap in the dispenser and granulated soap residue on the dishes and they weren't clean. Many thanks for your help.

I have a Delonghi DW67S dishwasher which I have been using for about 2 months now. It has been 3 washes now that the dispenser hasn't opened while washing leaving the detergent still in the dispenser. I have replaced the detergent with a new one from a different batch but the same problem. I have also chosen a different washing cycle to see if it was that particular cycle I was using but still the same problem.
