Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

I have a lot of gunk left on dishes after the cycle. I have tried to clean the sprayers. Could you explain in detail how to do this they do not seem to be plugged in any way.

Answers :

I would use vinegar, a gallon , just pour it into the bottom of the dishwasherLet it stand before it goes through a rinse and dry cycle....before you let it cycle, let it stand in the bottom of the dishwasher for at least an hour ...you can use more vinegar if you want to, or you can do it again, until you are satisfied with the results.

We're having same problem with our whirlpool GOld quiet partner III. We moved into our house three years ago and no manueal was left. I am sure its a filter or plug but I can't seem to figure out how to get to the filter or plug. I can take off the arm but then nothing. Is there a manuel I can get or can someone explain exactly where the parts are that I need to check? Dishes have grit on them, white spots, just not clean at all. Thanks!

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

Seems my drain is plugged on my dishwasher it is the magic chef 4500b unit and i now have water all over my kitchen floor. i cant seem to find the product du4500b  so i entered the du2000 , either way there is water on my floor and about 4 inches of water in the bottom of the dishwasher

Ok there are several problems this can be caused from...1. there is usually a float device (I'm not sure about this model) that floats up and turns the water flow off when an appropriate amount of water is injected into the DW...sometimes these ... Magic Chef 24 in. DU2000 Built-in Dishwasher

When we do not use the dishwasher for a week or more water seems to back up into the tub. The water has a foul smell to it and can be as much as an inch or so deep. The dishwasher drain hose is attached to an insinkerator disposal. By the way this dishwasher is only a couple of months old and we have had to have it serviced three times. No one has been able to explain the water accumulation and it can not be demonstrated unless the washer sits unused for a while.

My power button cover broke on the dishwasher and I figured out the part number I needed, but when I put it back together I got the wires crossed on the board and door switch. Now the control lights up , but the dishwasher will not run a cycle. THe question is does the plug on the door switch have to be a certain way, because there are three wires and you can connect the plug both ways. I did turn the plug, but it still does not run. Did I break the switch? Bosch SHU9956uc/14

The wires do have to be a certain way on the door. Otherwise a door open can tell the board that's it shut and vice versa. The easiest way to do it, is test the switch with an ohmmeter, place the meter on the switch, push button in and see if the rea ... Bosch SHU9956 Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher does not seem to have power. I have a Kitchen Aid, under counter unit, 9 years old, model KUDS01I. I used it 2 nights ago with no problem. When I push a button, nothing happens, no lights show, etc. It is plugged into the lower half of a duplex socket with disposal plugged into the top. Disposal works, so the problem seems to be with the dishwasher. That also eliminates any issues related to breakers or ground fault indicators, etc. Is there a reset button on the dishwasher? Is there

Kenmore Dishwasher model 665.1675592 doesn't seem to wash as well as it used to. Seems to have a low water level. Filler valve works, allows water in, but never seems to fill enough. No spray reaches top shelf, I think due to insufficient water level. It's like the timer doesn't stay on long enough for it to fill. Also cycle time seems WAY up, but if the timer is slow, how does it time out filling so fast? Looks like it would be slow all the time. Suggestions?

Grinding The situation: I have had my Whirlpool DU915PWPB1 for 2 1/2 years, it isn't the greatest dishwasher but does the job good enough. Recently, the water will fill, the washing cycle will run but then when that part stops it goes into a whirring that seems like a motor is going but nothing is moving. I have removed the Filter Modual in an attempt to find out what the grinding would be. There doesn't seem to have anything in the way or under the filter. I have ascertained that the grin

WP DW Mod # GU1200XTLS0: this unit filled with water and just stopped running. I have power to the unit. The control panel does not light up at all. Its wierd that I have power to the board and all the wires seem to have power! No burnt spots and no burnt smell on the board.Hmmm! Door latch and switches all check ok. Oddly it seems like the line power to DW goes all the way thru the unit and back through the nutural wire. Could the motor windings be burnt out?

Due to the my Indesit IDL 530 dishwasher not draining properly, I turned it onto it's left side, removed the base plate and pump and checked for blockages in the pump and associated hoses, which were all clear. However in re-assembling it I have forgotten which way round to connect the twin wire plug to the base plate. I cannot find a relevant wiring diagram online and therefore cannot tell which is the correct way around. I then guessed and re-assembled it anyway, and as you might have g

The fuse in the plug keeps blowing. Initially it would run for a while - sometimes 3 or 4 cycles - before blowing. It now blows the fuse the second that I plug in to the socket, even with the on/off button on the front of the dishwasher set to off.I'm keen to take it apart, but it's full of water as it blew mid-cycle. Is there a clever way to empty the machine without the power being on, or do I need bits of hose and sponges?A schematic blow up would also be extremely helpful.
