Water won't drain from bottom of dishwasher. I pulled the dishwasher out, blew through the drain tube, disconnected the drain tube and felt around inside. Ok there. The dishwasher has not been in use for 4 months, due to low hot water flow. I replaced a clogged valve today and restored water flow, and I'm wondering if non-use causes a problem with dishwashers?
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your DW.Actually, yes. Not using a dishwasher for a while can damage some parts. Sediment from water damages the water valve. Food residues clogs the drain and drain pump. More likely the ... Dishwashers
Magic Chef DU4K is not draining all the water. There's at least a gallon of water standing in the bottom. I have cleaned the air gap assembly and drain line completely. They were even sanitized in hot water. I do not hear the water draining like it use to. When it worked properly you could always hear water draining into the GD. Now I can hear any draining. Again, there is no clogging anywhere in the drain line assembly. Is it a bad pump. I don't know where to go next with this.

Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model# KUDP01FLSS. 2 problems #1 Won't run unless you press in on the door and hold it for a few minutes then it runs through cycle normally. Problem #2 It won't drain water out at the end of the cycle when I open the door there is water laying in the bottom of the tub. I have checked the drain hose for clogging and it appears normal. I am able to remove the hose from the disposal and suck the water out of the tub using a shop vac this indicates to me that the drain is ope
My tappan dishwasher is only 1 1/2 yr old and its not getting at least 1/2 of dishes clean. We have tried everything from changing to liquid soap, increasing water pressure at meter, not using while washing clothes. We used a dishwasher cleaner to remove calcium, and run hot water in sink before using. We know the wand, pump and drain are working. It is model TDB210RFB5 with 1.1A motor. Is the motor too small to clean dishes? I wish I could get my money back or exchange for an upgrade. Thanks!

I can not get the water to drain during a normal wash cyclr. When I press the start/restart button twice it makes noise but no water comes out the end of the drain hose. I have put a shop vac on the end of the hose and can get water out that way but it appears not to be pumping. The washer sits for up to 6 months at a time without being used. I was going to pour a baking soda mixture followed by vinegar and then hot water to see if drain is clogged by I need to be able to tell which is the drain.

I have a built-in Bosch dishwasher SHU 4302 UC. It no longer drains the water out at the end of all the cycles. I have tried everything mentioned in the booklet (make sure water is hot, use the jet-dry stuff, make sure outflow hose doesn't allow water back in). I have to siphon out at least a good bucketful of water. (Also, only the regular wash cycle works, which is fine with me.)

My trusty Bosch s510 Dishwasher which has been going strong for about 17 years (at least) has just decided not to empty itself. I noticed the bottom was full of water after a wash. I emptied all the water out by hand and presuming there is a blockage in the drain tried using a plunger to unblock it. I have since put it through another cycle and half way through water started leaking out of the front. At the end of the cycle the bottom of the dishwasher was again full of hot 'soapy' water. If th

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.
