Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

KENMORE MODEL # 363.16222100 Hello - my dishwasher (model# above) is currently filled with H20 and will not drain/work. When the knob to select the dishwasher cycle to begin is turned, it just 'clicks' and does not engage the washing cycle. When I tried to just let it run the cycle as is to 'restart', it had an electrical odor to it., Currently the knob is at the 'Rinse & Hold-(Heated Dry Off)' part of the cycle and all dishes have been removed. I would appreciate any assistance available. Thank

Either the motor is locked up or the control failed. You will need a service visit. If it is over 10 years old, I would buy new.

Water leak have the Ge triton dishwasher (Model # GSD5320D02BB, bought it n 2001) and currently have very small amount of water leaking out of the door during a run cycle. I did check levels when running and that seems to be fine......meaning the dishwasher is level and not an over-flow problem. My next thought is maybe it is a faulty door gasket. So my question is, where is the door gasket located and how do I replace it? (and where do I order this part from?). Looked for diagrams to follow and

New dishwasher (Beko 2542F slimline model). Put it on for 1st time last night -when I got up this morning, the cycle which should have taken just over 2 hours hadn't finished. There's soapy water in the bottom of the machine which hasn't drained and the "wash" light is still on. Looks like the dishes are clean but hasn't moved onto the rinse/dry part. Followed instruction in manual to drain it (hold start stop button till lights flash and should drain in 45 sec) but nothing happened.

I have model DU810SWPU3 Whirlpool dishwasher that is 1 yr old. Plastic dishes appear to have a film on them when cycle is complete. The water also seems to drain slowly. I assume that what appears to be the filter needs to cleaned but I'm not sure how to remove it to clean it. Is the plastic area with all of the square holes on the bottom of the appliance the filter? That part is what seems to be clogged. Thanks!

Dishlex Global 310 model. My dishwasher has water sitting on the bottom of it and it wont drain. I noticed it after I did a cycle of dirty dishes and the 'fast' light was flashing when I went to open it. Which shouldnt have been because it was on a normal wash. The water has been sitting at the bottom for 2 days now and still wont drain! I've taken out all the parts on the bottom which come out and cleaned them. Still no change however.

Cranky dishwasher I have to admit my wife's solution is the only one that works. Our ten-year-old Superba built-in usually starts a normal cycle part-way through, at the wash part, without filling or opening the dispenser door. Therefore the dishes come out with the soil now baked on. Closing the door, selecting normal and start results in a pump-out sound, or at least just the pump running to wash the dishes. The dishwasher ignores any cancel button push, and the light does not come on over t
