I HAVE A BOSCH SHU5305 DISHWASHER THAT WHEN IT IS TURNED ON IT WILL NOT DRAW WATER FOR THE WASH. IT JUST SITS THERE AND HUMS. HAD A BIT OF WATER FROM THE SINK BACK UP IN THE DISHWASHER AND SPILL OVER ONTO THE FLOOR YESTERDAY. I CLEANED THE DISHWASHER FILTER WHICH WAS COMPLETELY CLOGGED. I THINK THE DISHWASHER WORKED FINE PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT BUT THIS COULD ALL BE COINCIDENCE. I DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE A PLUMMING PROBLEM OR A WASHER PROBLEM. THE SINK WATER WORKS FINE. A GE triton dishwasher causes hammer noise when stops filling. The sink faucet works fine as do all the other faucets in the house. I cleaned all of the traps in the dishwasher. Because the sink works, I don't think it is a sink valve problem. I turned off the water to the house and drained the system, the air chambers should be good. Is there some component of the dishwasher that could be causing the noise? Would cleaning the pump help? If so, how would I do that?

The cause of the hammering noise, (slamming) is due to the water inlet valve on the Dishwasher (DW) shutting off abrutly once the DW reaches the proper amount of water.\015\012\015\012If this is an older DW, you might want to replace the ... GE Dishwashers

Hello, Im trying to diagnose poor cleaning of glasses in the top rack of my Fridigaire FDB751SCB0. everything seems to work fine but while testing I noticed the upper arm isn't spinning. the lower arm is. i believe the pump is working as water is spayed everywhere inside but no matter which position I leave the upper arm in, I find it in the same place when I open the door. what could cause the upper arm to not get water preventing it from spining?

Hello; first thing to check, which you don't mention, is which side of the glasses aren't coming clean; the outside, which would be caused by the TOP spray not working properly, or the INSIDE, which would be caused by the spray BELOW the top rack not ... Dishwashers

I have a McCulloch FH160B power washer and it no longer builds up pressure. I haven't used this very much at all. I tore it apart and cleaned everything I could find. When i pull the trigger for the spray nozzle, I get line water pressure. When I release the trigger, the power washer sounds like it starts to build up pressure. When this was working correctly, the pump would shut off when the trigger was released. Any suggestions?

What could be causing white powdery residue on dishes, glasses & silverware? I have checked the heater element - seems to be hot, using Cascade powder as usual, we have and have had hard water, we do have a new water heater set on 'low' setting - temp of water measured at 113 deg at kit tap. This washer has worked well for 12 years, then white powdery residue. Thanks, Phil

I took out the spark plug to release the compression but I still could not pull the rope out it is locked any advice.

When I release the tigger the pressure washer stops running. Runs fine as long as trigger is depressed. What could cause this?

Water from my disposal backs up into my hotpoint ($300-model) dishwasher. The dishwasher works fine otherwise. Is there a one way valve in the diswasher that is suppose to prevent reverse flow and/or is there other dishwasher motor problems which could cause this. Actually the Hotpoint Model number is HDA3600N00BB but this website did not recognize that model number so I put in the closest model number closest to mine.

Turn water on then actuate wand trigger. Pressure washer leaks when wand trigger is actuated and has very low pressure/flow output.
