Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

The dishwasher fills with water, but does not wash. It seems the water is not going into the rotors to spray the ishes. It does empty the water however.

Answers :

Sounds like you are not getting any voltage to your motor. i would take the bottom panel off and check for any loose or broken wires. if there aren't any you have a bad controller.

NEFF S4443 top spray bar not rotating, no water. Bottom spray bar rotates and sprays water. Checked and replaced fine/course mesh filters. Will pump to empty and refill on pre-wash (rinse). Seems the pump may have two outlets one feeding the bottom spay bar (nearest from of machine) and one just behind which feeds the upper spray bar. Running without spar bars attached (including mechanism feeding to bar, water is only being forced out of the from outlet. Any ideas before I start taking it apart

This problem is intermitten. Kenmore 665 16765690. starting the dishwasher, I hear a motor running. I think it is trying to empty water, however there isn't any water. I will turn the time rotor around to the start again. Sometimes, when I do this the motor running sound has stopped and I hear gurgling sound of water entering. Once this happens, the cycle is good and does well. However, there are times, rotation the timer back to the beginning may take several times, up to about 20 times.

Whirlpool DWF417W, Type 12155 A couple of weeks ago the machine failed to empty, leaving dirty water in the machine at the end of the cycle. Start a new program it emptied & all was then well. A couple of days ago we started a wash cycle as normal, shut the door, the pump normally runs for about 10 seconds then the cycle starts. However the pump just runs continuously?? Both spray arms of my DU943PWKQ0 do not turn or spray. The motor is moving and the it drains without problem. During the wash and rinse cycle I can hear the sound of water, however it doesn't clean at all and the sprays arms stay where they were. It seems the motor only creates no spray, but wave. I powered cycled the dishwasher, the problem remains the same. Anyone know what's wrong with it? Thanks James

ASKO 1885 Built-in Dishwasher: The water sump fills normally, but the wash cycle does not start. Althought the timer seems to work, the wash cycle motor won't start up in any wash or rinse selection. The spray arms do not spin - no water is being pumped. At the end of the wash cycle time, the water will empty out of the sump. Thank you. TB

I have a Kitchen Aid Superba KUDS24SEBS1. The inlet water pressure is good and the dishwasher fills and starts the wash cycle, however, after the initial spray of water, it seems that all of the water drains out and there is nothing left to continue the cycle and wash the dishes. It's like it's not able to fill up enough to wash the dishes.

Noticed dishes on top shelf not entirely clean. Ran machine empty and opened many times during wash. Noticed that Lower Spray Arm works as expected, but Middle Spray Arm turns only 1/8 or less, then Lower Arm spins again. Schematic with Use and Care manual just says pump motor switches from one to the other in certain cycles, but I don't see this happening. Looked for obstructions to water flow and pressure seems normal. Is control for this function part of the pump, or in the control panel?

My Kitchen Aid KUDS01DJSS0 seems to have water going to the upper spray arm (I see water coming out of the unit just beneath the upper rack), but the pressure doesn't seem to be high enough to clean the upper rack. No evidence that water is coming out of the spray arm on the very top. Lower rack dishes seem to clean OK. I have already removed the whole upper spray arm assembly and inspected the flapper valves that the middle sprayer goes into. I suspect that it's not making good enough contac

Hi, I've got a Fisher & Paykel DD603i which is very nearly 3 years old. I have folowed step 2 on page 7 of the manual as described in your response to a similar-ish problem, but didn't completely remove the drawer (as I wasn't sure how to get the clear plastic cover on the electrics underneath). Kenmore Dishwasher model 665.1675592 doesn't seem to wash as well as it used to. Seems to have a low water level. Filler valve works, allows water in, but never seems to fill enough. No spray reaches top shelf, I think due to insufficient water level. It's like the timer doesn't stay on long enough for it to fill. Also cycle time seems WAY up, but if the timer is slow, how does it time out filling so fast? Looks like it would be slow all the time. Suggestions?

Hi, I have an LG LDS4821 dishwasher and it appears to stop working properly. The dishes don't seem to be cleaned at all. It seems like the spray arms are not spraying the dishes as the dishes are still dry/dirty after a normal wash cycle. I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)

The dishwasher doesn't seem to have nearly enough water in it. The upper sprayer arm doesn't seem to be spinning when running (I open the door and look really quick) and the lower one looks like it barely spins and barely sprays water. The dishes are barely wet and the soap is just laying on the bottom. The water is on, there are no kinks in the supply line.
