Whirlpool DU915pwk80 not draining after cycle complete. I can run the cycle...and it doesn't overflow but it doesn't drain when its complete, i still have a couple inches of water in the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle.

First thing that i would check is your drain line at disposer or sink.under sink. check to make sure its not clogged up. both the hose and were the hose hooks uo to look inside and see if blocked if so clean out with a flat blade srewdriver and test it, if drains better then that was the problem, also check for a kincked or pinched drain hose, if all that is good sounds like maybe your drain pump is bad. hope this helps

Dishwasher drain is hooked to a food disposer and until recently the unit worked fine. Last week following a cycle a couple of inches of water did not drain out. All food is removed from dishes, silverware, etc. prior to loading and the food trap in the bottom is completely clear. I ran the unit empty through a Lightwash cycle and afterwards the water level (that which didn't drain out) looked to be the same as before. The dishwasher is run 2-3 times weekly whereas the food disposal is

GE GHDA485N 10CS Dishwasher that has standing water in the bottom after the cycle completes. I pulled it out and reconnected power and ran a rinse cycle. I could see that water was pumping out the clear drain pipe but there was still about an inch of standing water in the bottom. Any thoughts as to what part has failed. Does the system use a water level switch or a timed drain cycle to determine when the water has pumped out. If it is a timed cycle could a slow drain cause the problem. Thank you

Unit acts as if ther is no power at all. I have seen similar posts. Any thoughts?

Champion dishwasher we have a champion freestanding dishwasher at my church. after the cycle is completed, the pressure guage behind the washer still shows 25-30 and it contnues to spray water. not forced by the motor, but more like a stuck open fill valve. if i turn off the water and run it, then turn the water back on, the valve is closed and does not let water freely in. butif i run it with the water on, it will continue to spray in freely after the cycle light goes out and you open the door.
