Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

I have a Bosch Dishwasher- I installed a new garbage disposal and forgot to knock out the drain plug (dumb-i know) and I ran the dishwasher that night- well in the morning I noticed it was full of water and the bottom and the drain was humming. I then realized what I had done- so I knocked out the plug and the dishwasher drained immediately. but now the drain continues to run - even with the door open and I cannot get it off the drain cycle. Any suggestions?

\015\012If you notice still any water in the base. you sponge out the water and then check turning ON the dishwasher. If still the same problem then two possibilities \015\0121) bad water fill value. \015\012and \015\0122)bad drain motor \015\012----------------\015\012try this ----- Your outlet pump or pipe have got blocked (very common) and water has overflowed into the base. This has activated a float switch to tell machine to pump out all time.
You need to remove the plinth of appliance and remove with sponge or syringe the water and clear outlet blockage and hey presto all will be fine.
\015\012---------------\015\012another option you can try is ---------- it also sounds like a welded relay contact.
The pump is controlled by the board. There is a particular relay to run the pump. If this relay is stuck, then the pump would always run.

You can try removing the board, tap all the relays that you can find, then try it again.
If it is a stuck relay, then it might work again.

But if the contacts of the relay is welded, then you have to replace the relay to save some money. but if you can;t, then you have to replace the whole board.
\015\012-----------------\015\012this will help.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.

As a test, I poured a large glass of water in the bottom of the dishwasher and it drained it into the sink as it should, but it continues to run in the drain mode with no water in it. I've heard I either have a float stuck or an emergency drain switch or leak somewhere causing the dishwasher to continue in the drain mode. Ho

I have a Bosch Dishwasher, Model SHE46C06UC. No mater what cycle I start it in, it simply activates the drain and continues to run without ever starting. Within the last week prior to the dishwasher not working, I noticed a low hum/vibration emitting from the dishwasher. I've clean out the screen and drain filter, removed the pump cover to check for any debris. I've manually added water and it does drain. Additionally, the drain cycle continues to operate even with the door open.

First thing you may want to check is the door switch. You can pull it off and measure the resistance with an ohmmeter. If you get good reading while pushed in and none while switch button is released, then it is a good start. Next, you may want ... Dishwashers
