Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

My Bosch SMU2000 series dishwasher will not complete the wash cycle. Advancing the dial completes the cycle but it sticks again before completing the rinse cycle. I replaced the timer assembly and the symptoms are the same

It seems to me a Faulty Control Board. You need to pull up the control board and check the resistors on it. If found burned or swelled, needs to replace those.

Note - It's better to replace control board than to repair as you can check input power but cannot check output power. So, it might take a lot of time, even some days to find out the correct fix as you would need to replace each and every resistor one by one and that could cost you more than a new board of around 200 bucks.

Let me know, if need any assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Hello. \015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012check these:

Water-inlet valve
Float switch
\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012Water-inlet valve\015\012\015\012The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it.

\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012Float switch\015\012\015\012The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

Dishwasher runs for appx 14 min & stops washing half way thru wash cycle. Timer contunies to run. No drain pump out (nothing). Let dishwasher set idle for appx 1 hour and it will re-set. Set timer forward to end of wash cycle and it will complete rinse and final rinse. Then go to dry. Timer works ok.

Hi. I have a 3 year old LG dishwasher. It will not drain. Display shows OE. I completely cleaned the drain assembly inside the DW. I checked the discharge line, it is completely clean. I disconnected the drain line from the air vent assembly at the sink and ran the DW, still will not drain. I disconnected the discharge pump wires and ran current directly, the pump works. I replaced the main control PCB, still will not drain. Please advise. Thanks

Hi, I have a Siemens SE24A230GB/17 dishwasher and it is not completing the wash cycle (any selected). It appears to be stuck on the 'wash' part of the program. I have done the reset actions as advised in the User Manual and tried another program, without success. I have found that the possible causes could be the timer or thermostat. The estimated time remaining display counts down, but the program does not complete the wash and move onto rinse and dry. Any help or advice you can provide would

We have and older Jackson model 10 AB at church, used 10 to 20 times per year. The pump motor quit this summer and was replaced by a local appliance service company. About $700 job. Upon using it recently, the first time since the new pump was installed, the RINSE cycle seems very anemic, that is, low volume and low spin rate. The dishes were not completely rinsed. Temperature was correct, 185 degrees. The service person came back to look with no improvement and now the Heaters will not co

Maytag MDB 8600 AWB dishwasher Wouldn''t start... just a Heated Dry light. Replaced (already broken) door handle with complete latch assembly. Still, Heated Dry flashes. Tried various suggested combos of 5 or 6 quick button pushes followed by Start. Only get a 50-=countdown that repeats endlessly. Sometimes alternates with the letter L. Once by luck I guess it went into Heavy Wash mode, or at least the diagnostic for it. Completed this fine, then back to the stubborn Heated Dry light.

I have a Whirlpool ADG937 dishwasher (9 years old) which will not complete a 65c wash cycle. It starts Ok and runs for a long time but then continually bleeps, when I open the door the programme indicator light is on the rinse cycle.
