Hi\015\012

\015\012Thanks for using FixYa. There is no sensor on your dishwasher for drainage purpose however, it uses a drain solenoid to open and close the dishwasher drain port. If this \015\012solenoid isn't opening during the drain cycle, then it could have happened due to a bad timer or solenoid.\015\012
\015\012Also make sure that you are not using too much of detergent that causes these issues. Check for the solenoid & make sure the timer is fine. Replacing the timer alone should solve your issue.\015\012

\015\012Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance. \015\012

There may be a faulty capacitor on the timer board. They do overheat and burn out. You can find and test any electronical components on the board with an ohmmeter. If you find one with very low or no reading at all, then that is the bad one that needs to be soldered off and new one back on. You can get very reasonably parts at www.repairclinic.com and shopjimmy.com

I bought this dishwasher 5 years ago and was kept in the box until last month. I installed it, turned on the water and no water is being pumped into the unit from the water release valve in the dishwasher. I then checked all the cycles and everything works except for the pump. Then I checked to see if any power/volts was going to the pump and there is none. Could it be a wiring problem or could it be the circuit board?? please help. thanks

You will have to check all the connections visually. Since you know how to use a meter, see where the current stops. See if there is current coming from the control board to the pump. the water inlet solenoid valve should "free flow" water into the m ... GE 24 in. Profile PDW7800 Built-in Dishwasher

My asko dishwasher ran great until recently. after finishing a load, the pump just continues to run (even when all water has been pumped from the unit and it's running dry) and the display isn't flashing anything (not codes, etc). Worried about destroying the pump, I shut off the washer at the breaker, and it's been a few months since we've had a dishwasher. Every once in a while I'll turn the power on and it just continues doing the same thing - it's stuck in this position/state, so I have to s

I have an Asko DW1875 dishwasher (10yrs old) which has just recently started having problems. The initial symptom was that during a washing cycle, unit showed '1' and inside became very hot (melting some plastic cups/plates in unit). On further investigation (with diagnostic mode), the dishwasher is filling and draining with no problem. When circulation pump runs there is barely any water pressure in blades (just dribbles out) and water leaks into undertray via a plastic white tab near front (v

Bosch SHU4302 WITH REPAIRED PC BOARD has been working fine for several years now seems stuck in rinse/drain mode and is not quite pumping cabinet dry. I have removed the screens and located the small impeller at bottom below cover. The impeller rotates as though it has multiple spring loaded stop positions. When I turn on the unit and open the door water is trickling from the sprayer arms at low pressure. It seems stuck in rinse mode and will not advance cycles or reset when shut off.

'Dead' DU1100XTP The dishwasher will not start - no lights at all - no indication that anything's working (although I confirmed the unit has power). I've seen numerous posts regarding the control board - is there a problem with these in general? Magic Chef DU55CA-01 unit runs but when pump kicks on for discharge cyle water leaks on the floor from the what appears to be the solenoid part. The leaking stops as soon as the pump turns off. What part needs to be replaced? The unit was in storage for some time would this just be an issue with it sitting for some time? What is the best way to determine the real cause of the leak?

I have an Asko 1585 dishwasher. It drops the inlet valve on step (step 12), and the recirculation pump (next step) tries to pump with no water. Later at about step 47, the inlet valve begins to work again and the dishwasher finishes the cycle without a problem. I have an Asko w66 front load washing machine that will only wash one way with a 60 second time delay and washes the same way again instead of reversing. At no time will it wash the other way. At the first spin cycle the water is pumped out but the wash drum will not spin. The pump continues to pump and will not stop while the one way wash continues. The timer stops at this point with the one way wash and pump still pumping continuously.
