Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

Have Fisher-Paykel DD603 double-drawer dishwasher. Top drawer motor making loud noise. )Bottom drawer fine.) Still seems to wash and definitely pumps water but sounds like a "motor with a broken belt." Checked filter and rotating spray arm - no problems. (Found a little broken glass in filter; could be very old.) Suggestions?

Answers :

If glass has gotten past the screen and into the pump, you may have a pcs. logged in the pump housing.
\015\012Best way to correct this, is to remove the pump inlet and outlet lines and flush out with a water hose.
\015\012Keep in mind the pump and housing are in most cases made of plastic and made to brake.

Ld-1416T I have an LG LD-1416T dishwasher and the lower spray arm does not turn. The top arm turns and the top rack is washed well. I pulled everyting out and cleaned all the filters (which weren't that dirty) but still no luck. I could only get so much stuff out to clean before it looked like to go any further, I would need to gain access through the bottom. Are there more filters in the motor area which might need cleaning? I read that it could be the vario motor. Can I test this? and if s

My maytag dishwasher lower and upper spray arms are working intermittently. Sometimes there is plenty of water spraying around, other times, I can hear what sounds like the motor running but the arms are not moving (or not moving much) and very little water is splashing around. When this happens, the detergent sometimes doesn't even get washed out of its compartment.

F2 Code Hey, I have a single drawer built in Fisher & Paykel dish drawer and today I pulled the spray arm, filter and large metal screen out to clean them as we have been starting to get a bit of stuff left behind after washing lately. Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't seem to fill with enough water despite good water pressure. Therefore, pump sounds like it is cycling from pumping water for about 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds to pumping water for 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds, etc. Spray arms rotate only for the 2 seconds when pump is actually pumping water. Dishes do not get clean.

Dishwasher won't drain nor will the lower arm rotate and spray. When turned to the ON position it just makes a clank noise (like a motor is trying to turn on) and hum for a short bit. Nothing afterwards. There is water standing in the basin.

The dishwasher doesn't seem to have nearly enough water in it. The upper sprayer arm doesn't seem to be spinning when running (I open the door and look really quick) and the lower one looks like it barely spins and barely sprays water. The dishes are barely wet and the soap is just laying on the bottom. The water is on, there are no kinks in the supply line. It sounds like it is running, and pumps pumping, but being brand new I am not sure what it should sound like. It certainly doesn't sound li

Hi, I have a Fisher Paykel DD603I (integrated) dishdrawer unit.
