E3 Error Hi My dishwasher is showing error E3, which the user manual states "The appliance is not able to pump out the water.", however, other E3 error states a heating issue. The dishwasher does in fact heat the water but generates the E3 error after 10 minutes or so, then pumps out the water from the dishwasher. I'm a little confused as to what the issue is here and what part I would need to rectify the problem. Any advise you could give would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards

The E3 error is a result of water temperature not getting to a nominal value within a particular time. This could be caused by several factors like heater faulty, wash pump not working well, wash arms not circulating water as required. Need model nu ... Smeg Dishwashers

Bosch Dishwasher I currently own a Bosch dishwasher. One of the selling points, if I'm remembering right, of the dishwasher was it was supposed to super heat the hot water that is coming in from the tap. I have 3 problems. We have to rinse the dishes by hand before putting them in the dishwasher, Otherwise they won't come out clean. The dishwasher will run for four hours sometimes longer. It doesn't seem like it is heating the water any hotter than what comes out of the tap.

Do these 'portable' dishwashers 'heat' water prior to washing? i have customer complaining bout the dishes not coming clean..yet the water entering the dishwasher is cold, does not appear to heat water prior to washing.

Most dishwashers require a minimum 120 degree inlet water temp. The heating element will boost this up during the main wash cycle to aprox 140. Do not hook a dishwasher up to inlet water temps above 150. ... GE Hotpoint HDA3500N Dishwasher

Hi, I have a Kenmore 15879 that is basically working except the bottom water spinner...lol (don't know technical name). The dishwasher pumps the water into the bottom of the dishwasher, will heat the water, but not disperse the water in the spinning sprinkler manner it's suposed to. I've opened the dishwasher in time to see that water is spurting out of the holes about 2" high, but it's just not spinning. The water also drains just fine after the whole cycle.

This is caused by the impeller being clogged or the pump is failing, When the pump is woring properly the water will shoot out with force. ... Kenmore 15879 Built-in Dishwasher

Leaking from under dishwasher. Has run great since 1996. Under counter model in manufactured home. Chnaged to drop in pellet dishwasher detergent and it ran great. There is no water inside the dishwasher circular drain. We never use the heating coil to dry the dishes. We have turned off the water supply line under the sink to the dishwasher. Cool clear water is running out from under the bottom right corner. The hot water heater is right next to it and everything is dry and warm under it which i

Hi,Depending on the model you have this could be a couple of things. The most likely suspect is the water inlet valve. What I would recommend to do is take the bottom toe panel off, typically there are either 2 or 4 screws holding this pa ... Dishwashers

Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help. Bosch Classixx dishwasher: Initially no water feed and 'water check' light came on. Removed side panel, emptied water from base. Ran OK for a week or so. The problem then repeated so side panel removed, float switch operation checked (OK) drained water from sump below polystyrene float. Ran OK but contents came out dirty and cold - no heat. Side panels off again, water in base but no obvious leak when watched during cycle - still no heat. Help please.
