I have a Beko DE3542FS dishwasher which has stopped heating the water. I know the heater element is ok because I have had it tested. I was wondering if the thermostat was faulty if this would account for it not heating. The element has had 240v applied and becomes hot. So my reasoning is that it is either the thermostat or the programmer. Any suggestions?

Fills with water, sounds like it starts to pump water then stops, then start again. It attempts to start pumping water 3 or 4 times them turns off leaving the water in the tub. I have read about the water needing to heat up for the cycle to advance. When I check the water that is left in the tub it is warm but not hot. The heating element is not hot either. I did a continuity test on the heating element and it seems to check out ok. I also did a continuity test on the red wire from the heating e

I have a JDB1090AWS about 3 years old. We noticed a smell and found cutting boards and plastic cups melted. Machine was off. Had to turn off the breaker. Checked both leads to element & have power even with machine off. Not sure if it could be the limiting thermostat; I assume that is to shut the heat down when it gets too hot. Element is on though when it shouldn't be to begin with. I did have to tighten the water supply. Had some water underneath, but all wires seemed dry. Any tests I should t

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

Hi I have a Zanussi ZDF501 dishwasher that stopped heating up intermittently. It got worse and I fitted a new heater and all was ok for a few months. Then the intermittent failure started again. Note that I tested the old heater and it is actually OK without a short circuit so I don't think it was the problem adn can be re-used. Could it be the thermostat or heat sensor? I am concerned it might be the PCB since the failure was intermittent. Thanks Dave

I have a Bosch SHU53513UC/U12 dishwasher. My initial problem is that the washer smells bad after a cycle and I've noticed some water sitting in the bottom of the unit.
