Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

My dishwasher was moved for kitchen rennovations. When hooked back up again it would not fill up. It will run through a cycle but no water enters. If I squeeze the rubber hose that leads from the electronic valve to the tub it gets hot indicating that I am forcing hot water through the line. If I pour water into the tub it will wash the dishes but at the final 6 minute point it will go no further, I assume because it is not getting rinse water.

Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help. Water problem Hi, I have a Jenn air DW 711 that does not get water. I checked the following: Water line: I unhooked the water line and it is clear & free flowing. Float: The float moves up and down as it should. Filter: The filter inside the tub is clean. The motor runs and will drain any water in the tub I put a bucket of water in the tub and the dishwasher immediately drains no matter which setting I choose. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

Many dishwashers will drain at the beginning of any cycle. \015\012If the water does not fill after the pump-out cycle, then the problem is either the fill valve or the float switch. You should be able to hear the float switch click as you rais ... Dishwashers

I have a Miele G892 SC dishwasher. When I start the cycle, it drains (except for a bit of water left below the triple filter). After that, the intake valve opens and water enters. It then does nothing for a period of time until the "intake/drain" indicator light starts flashing. When I open the unit, I find about 1/2in of water in the tub (above the tripe filter). I have a 2 year old Electrolux ESL 63010 dishwasher, and it worked perfect until a few days ago, when it did not wash cleanly and the dishes came out cold. I have a Bosch SHU9915UC/U11 dishwasher, installed in 2002. Recently, our hot water heater had to be replaced, and we were without hot water for five days. Air got into the hot water pipes, and dried out all the debri in the lines. Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. My GSD900G-01 dishwasher leaks where the hot water is supposed to go into the tub. There's a plastic fitting that seems to be glued to the side of the tub and the hose from the inlet valve goes to the top of this fitting. There are no visible cracks or other damage but there is some rust inside the tub at the fitting. The fitting has two open gaps on it's side which is where the water is leaking out. It looks like the water is supposed to flow past these gaps (which I'm guessing are there to

Magic Chef DU4K is not draining all the water. There's at least a gallon of water standing in the bottom. I have cleaned the air gap assembly and drain line completely. They were even sanitized in hot water. I do not hear the water draining like it use to. When it worked properly you could always hear water draining into the GD. Now I can hear any draining. Again, there is no clogging anywhere in the drain line assembly. Is it a bad pump. I don't know where to go next with this.

I have a Delonghi dishwasher, it's a stand alone, like a washing machine. The water inlet is connected to the hot water tap, normally used for a washing machine. When we first started using the dishwasher, we kept getting the E4 error message, we reduced the water inlet pressure by turning down the tap, that worked for a while. Just a while ago, we started getting the E4 error message again, not sure we can turn down the tap any further without cutting the water off completely. Do you have a

My Bosch diswasher is hanging up in the cycle (at 102 mins. in normal cycle and 38 mins in quick cycle). I hear what sounds like a one second pumping of water into the sink area, a pause, and then another one second pumping of water, on and on, but there's no progression beyond this point. One possible cause: a few weeks ago someone turned off the hot water at the heater and another person tried to run the dishwasher. The dishwasher did not function because it could not get hot water.
