My Bosch SHY56A02 dishwasher won't fill....When cycle is started, it seems to pump water out but none in. Water feed is good....Added water manually and it pumps out immediately. Also, unit continues to run with door open...door switch is not jumpered. Could it be the fill valve? More likely the control module? Thanks for your help!

Dishwasher keeps running I have a Bosche dishwasher and the water keeps running. As long as we run it and don't stop it, the pump will continue to drain about every 3 minutes. The water just keeps running though. If we open it to empty the dishes, the cycle will stop. But the water keeps running, filling the tub, and then overflows, flooding the kitchen and drains through our wood floors to the basement below. Our ASKO seems to have a similar problem. I started the dishwasher, and the water ke

I have a GE dishwasher model GLDL560N10SS. I noticed a burning smell coming from it the other day and then realized that although I can hear water running into the dishwasher when I start it, it never actually runs in the sense that the water is pushed through the various outlets to wash the dishes. I'm assuming that it is because the unit is dry and the heating element is still coming on that it is causing a burning smell. If I open the unit and reset it, it pumps the water back out into the si

I'm having problems with the drain pump constantly running. I understand so far that it'll be the anti-flood device that is causing this. I've taken the dishwasher out and tipped it backwards to drain as much water out as possible but nothing comes out from anywhere ! It appears to be a sealed unit so how do I get to the appropriate part and fix it ? Cheers !

Dishwasher - Bosche - SHV43A03GB - When the main power switch is ON, even with the door open the pump/motor continues to run (ie. Stop-cycle does not operate). However, the wash-program itself does not run, even with the door closed (ie. No water entering the dishwasher, even though water supply is on and feed lines are clear - not kinked). It is like the program is 'stuck' and I cannot seem to get it to reset.
Your door switch is likely faulty and should be replaced. You can get them at partselect.com ... Dishwashers
My Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB1050RES2 gets stuck in a rinse cycle. The light on the front will be lit "clean" but the bottom of the washer is full of water. Opening the door does not turn off the "clean" light. For me to get it to run, I have to unplug it, plug it back in, push the start button until the ?washing? light comes on. I then push the start button once more and the dishwasher will begin to drain. I open the door as soon as I hear the water stop draining into the sink drain. This

I've had a Miele G892 SCU PLUS dishwasher for a long time. Today a problem started that results in a flooded floor. Water keeps flowing into the dishwasher - even when the unit is turned off. It seeps in very slowly, but within15 minutes there is enough to overflow & flood the floor. My guess is that there must be some kind of sensor that isn't working, or the coresponding mechanical switch that shuts off the water is worn or slightly stuck open a bit? Hi. I have a Siemens SE65E331GB Built in Dishwasher with an aquastop system. The problem is that it seems to be stuck at the end of a cycle. The pump is constantly running when stitched on. I won't top after a reset and it continues to run even if you open the door. The water supply light also comes on indicating that there is no water getting to the machine. Problem: dishwasher (moel MDB6601AWW) will not run. The front panel has a light, between the "Delay 1-9" and "heated dry" buttons, and adjacent to small printed icon (looks like a tombstone with the number 3 inside). My Bosch dishwasher has had a problem since we had it installed. It smells like garbage after sitting for a few hours. This problem is there whether it has been run or not. Water is always standing in the large drain tube under the "filter" and it doesn't look clean. I contacted Bosch by phone as soon as this was discovered - in a matter of days after purchase - and was told by a rather haughty service person to leave the dishwasher door open. Not a practical suggestion even if it didn't sm

Champion dishwasher we have a champion freestanding dishwasher at my church. after the cycle is completed, the pressure guage behind the washer still shows 25-30 and it contnues to spray water. not forced by the motor, but more like a stuck open fill valve. if i turn off the water and run it, then turn the water back on, the valve is closed and does not let water freely in. butif i run it with the water on, it will continue to spray in freely after the cycle light goes out and you open the door.

Our moffat quiet 2 dishwasher has recently developed the problem that the dishes are not cleaned properly. It does drain water. We've opened the drain cover to check that. There does not seem to be a problem there. We've also started hearing a buzzing sound that lasts a minute or so between cycles. (Not between every cycle though) It's random. We rinse our dishes thoroughly before running a cycle. This unit is approx. 5 years old. Any suggestions?
