Connection a dishwasher to a normal water outlet.

\015 1) If I connect my new GE dishwasher to a normal water outlet istead of hot water would the dishwasher work effeiciently or the connection must be to hot water?\015\0122) I noticed with Eurpean Models that the use salt which is special for diswashers. However, all the GE models do not use. Does this mean that GE models do not need water to be salted and this will not affect its effeiciency?\015\012\015\012regard,\015

I have a whirlpool DU915 built in dishwasher. During the last pre wash cycle after filling with water, it suddenly stopped and the lights on tne control panel went out as it was suddenly unplugged. All connections are still intact, the breaker box to the house has been checked. The shared outlet is still working, as the garbage disposal still operates normally. The latch on the door appears to be functioning. Can you please give me a direction to look?

I have a Delonghi dishwasher, it's a stand alone, like a washing machine. The water inlet is connected to the hot water tap, normally used for a washing machine. Just a while ago, we started getting the E4 error message again, not sure we can turn down the tap any further without cutting the water off completely. Do you have a
