Belling dishwasher IDW604 error code E4 on control panel

Answers :

I found the solution myself. Underneath the machine, there is a plate. On the plate, there is a float and a\015\012 microswitch, when the water leaks onto the bottom plate it raises the \015\012float and activates the microswith which shuts down the machine and \015\012shows E4 on display. To get rid of the fault, you have to pull out the dishwasher, then tilt it, and drain the water from the bottom plate. Also make sure that \015\012there is no leak in the internal piping, if there is, the fault will \015\012come back as soon as the recess in the bottom panel fills with water.Hope it helps.

I have a 13 month old Bosch SHE58c dishwasher. The pump runs constantly and will not refill the tank. There are no error codes thrown on the control panel, but not sure there are error codes for this model - the manual doesn't mention any. So I have removed the side panel and can see the bottom pan is bone dry and I made sure the overflow drain switch was not bound and operates freely. Is there some type of reset button or other task I can perform to continue troubleshooting this problem? Repair

Reset code I recently had a problem with my dishwasher that required me to use a reset code on my control panel. I can no longer find the manual that tells me that code. I was wondering if anyone knows it as to save a tech call. The error occurs when the clean light flashes. We have checked the heating element and the tech told us there is no problem there, we just need to reset the machine. The error has occured again, but this time because I tried to run the machine right when we came home fro

It seems to be running though... totally weird. The Control Board has NO error code. I replaced the Control Board. Didn't fix it.
