Item: Whirlpool Ultra Dishwasher Age: 3 yrs Problem: Not enough water to effectively wash the dishes. State: When the dishwasher is started, the fill valve opens as normal. Only about 1/2 the amount of water is let in when the pump turns on and the washing cycle begins. Opening the door shows that the water level does not reach the bottom of the float. My Kitchen Aid KUDS01FLSS2 dishwasher does not spray water thru the wash arms nor do they seem to turn. Additionally, one of the the bottom arms hits the "cap, internal rear feed" where it clips to "feed tube assembly" when rotated by hand. The spray arm assembly appears true on visual examination. Dishwasher Repair I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that came with the house. The house and washer are probably about seven years old. Turns on, the entire cycle runs, but no water pumps through the sprayer. There is water present on the bottom....and I can here the water pumping in at the beginning of the cyle....but the dishes are not being 'washed' by the sprayers. I have disassembled and cleaned the entire inside and sprayers to no avail. Im thinking its a pump/motor issue but Im not sure because the sprayers spin, the heat comes on, the detergent dispenses....but no water is being sprayed. Thanks.

Westinghouse Virtuoso 922 dishwasher. Wash cycle completes, but water does not drain out. If I let the cycle continue, after a delay the rinse cycle starts, but of course no clean water is pumped in so the dishes are "rinsed" in the dirty wash water. My Bosh Model# SHE4AM02UC/01 Is not cycling. Started with the soap dispenser not opening, progressed to the drain pump not staying on. When you turn it on, the pump runs for 2 seconds. water solenoid opens for another two seconds, and then the "clean" light comes on. If I go to quick wash, or to pot scrubber it might do a regular cycle. I did pull the pump to remove a piece of glass before this all started, but can't imagine that would be the cause.

Dishwasher wont fill with water. just before it stopped filling i was turning the dial (a lot) between the wash cycles back and forth to attempt to get it to fill and drain (I didn't let it go through a cycle). We also removed the hose from the machine as it had split and replaced it and we had the machine tilted on it's side. the dial still clicks round but it sounds like the pump is going and it doesn't seem to be filling with water. We have had an independent engineer look at the machine and he has advised that the pump needs changing. Look forward to your reply, thank you. Regards Michael Ballard.
