My Whirlpool dishwasher will wash fine, but when it drains, it's a slow trickle. I've snaked the line from the sink to the washer, but I can't find a clog. If I try to blow into the drain pipe all I accomplish is almost passing out. I can't blow all the way through it. When I hit the drain button, I hear the solenoid kick on with a rattle, then just a hum. Like I said, I just get a trickle, and the basin never drains completely. It's driving me crazy! Help? Thanks.

I have a Bosch dishwasher that was working just fine until I spilled a bag of uncooked pasta. I sent the pasta down the drain and ran the garbage disposal, subsequently clogging the pipes. I had to get a plumber to fix the drains, but he wouldn't unclog the dishwasher. I have tried myself to go under the sink and drain some hoses, but it didn't work. I also put some baking soda and vinegar into the drain, but no luck. What can I do?

It may simply be where the dishwasher drain attaches to your garbage disposal. There should be a hose clamp and can easily be taken off. If the clog's not right at the connection, chances are it's far. If there is an air gap, it will be within a f ... Bosch 24 in. SHU66C05 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

Hello, My GE dishwasher stopped draining. Model Number: VSD2304JOOWW I emptied out the dishwasher of the liquid, removed the cover and checked the filter. (Didn't look bad.) Checked the drain pipe under the sink and there was a little debris (slime) but very minimal. The garbage disposal was installed at the same time as the dishwasher 3 years ago (brand new place). What else could it be? Any advice would be helpful as my new home seems to be falling apart and it is getting pretty e

I am having difficulty removing the impeller and items above the pump to see if it is clogged. Do you think I have a partially clogged pump or a timer issue that prevents the pump from completely emptying the bottom of the dishwasher? Dishwasher: Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner. Has worked fine until had a house plumbing blockage which made water pool in the bottom of the dishwasher as well as kitchen sink. Tried to get it to drain at first using keypad. Drain light clicked on and then off because there was nowhere for water to do. Manually emptied most of the water, then "Cancel/Drain" worked if I held it down quite a while. House plumbing is now fixed. However the keypad only works sporadically now. Some buttons do so

Frigidaire 2405 Dishwasher has a direct drain into the floor and is too far from the sink to be able to drain into the sink pipes. Can I add a loop of drain hose from the floor drain up to the counter height, about 30", then back to the floor to mimic the loop that would be created by running to the sink drain? I have been told that these new types of dishwashers require water remaining in the pipes to work properly. Thanks, John

My Professional series dishwasher does not work properly. It is only 1.5 years old and glasses on top rack get sprayed with fine layer of particles every time I use it. Other items, top and bottom, are often not clean as well, but glasses are the hardest to re-clean. I have tried evacuating the water left at the bottom of the dishwasher before running, pre-running the hot water in the sink and ensuring that the disposal was run, removing and cleaning the filter at the bottom of the washer. I have read on some forums about pressing the programme button 4 times or holding it down for ten seconds to clear the fault but neither of these solutions work. I thought maybe that the drain was blocked but I put the pipe directly into the sink and it empties ok, problem is, it does not stop.
