Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

I recently bought a different type of dishwashing detergent for my Frigidare dishwasher and my dishes look as if they have not been rinsed. They cycled all the way through the drying cycle so the detergent dried on and was difficult to remove. I would like some advice on whether this sounds like a detergent problem or mechanical problem before I try another load. This washer is not new. It was in the house I bought and I've only been using it for about 2 months. (I usually use Casade Liquid and

\015\012if your unit has a compartment for jet dry or rinse agent then you should add and fill that compartment with rinse aid. try not to buy soap with any extra like soap with jet dry or shine plus . because when you fdo that sometimes customer think that they dont need rinse agent . big mistake. rinse agent is deposited at a certain time in the cycle. diod you know that is you use lets say jet dry and a soap with shine plus or rinse aid in soap the machine can over suds? as a tech trust me i have seen it.let me know if i was helpful. drop a 4thumbs up post

I have a couple of problems. Firstly, the auto programme now shows a cycle time of 199mins but actually takes much longer than that to complete - more like 4 hours. On the quick (!) wash cycle the time is 97 minutes, whereas it should be less than 30 mins. Second problem, the detergent box flap won't stay shut when loading, so I have to put the tablet in loose in the bottom. Could the 2 problems be related?

There is an issue with the machine not heating properly, it could be the control panel or the thermostat, The flap not staying shut is not connected to this. ... Dishwashers

The detergent dispenser [Main Wash] door doesn't stay closed. It seems like there is something wrong with the latch, but we can't what. We've cleaned it, but don't know what else to try. There don't seem to be pieces missing or broken. But no matter what, when we put in the detergent [we use the cubes] the door always just pops open and the detergent ends up falling to the bottom on the dishwasher. The dishes are still getting relatively clean, but we want to solve the problem with the door

Dishwasher problems Hi. I have been having issues with my dishwasher the last month or so. There is a white powder-like residue left on dishes. I noticed it most on my silverware. At first I thought the detergent didn't rinse off completely so I did a ran it again without any detergent a couple of times. Still there. I bought some stuff that is supposed to remove build up from hard water. did that twice. Increased the amount in the rinse aid dispenser. Now I have noticed that the drying coil? is

I tried the bottom combo of hi temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash, heated dry and it re-set my dishwasher but then after I tried to run a new load it doesn't seem like it finishes all the way through because there is still soap left in the soap dispenser and the dishes arn't all clean, plus the green clean light begins flashing again. We recently bought a house with a Kenmore 363.16222100 (?) dishwasher. No manual. Monday night it didn't drain properly and leaked some water on the kitchen floor. The cycle had finished when we saw the water on the floor. We bailed out the excess water. I took off the drain cover and insert. I couldn't see an obvious clog problem, but cleaned it out. Then I tried a short cycle, interrupting it to shorten it. No problem. Water seemed to drain fine. I did find a part that looked like a straw and

Like so many others, I am experiencing a problem with my GE dishwasher's smartdispense. I have ALWAYS used the SAME detergent(Cascade Complete)and still have the gumming-up issue. I noticed that the dishes were not getting clean and when I opened the smartdispense cover I could see that the detergent was gelled. We bought model KUDS02FR in Nov. 2005. The last few months we have had a residue on many of our dishes, esp. plates and bowls, when we unload the dishwasher. We've been double-checking the detergent dispenser, Jet Dry, and the way we load the machine. We have rewashed dishes, but it doesn't seem to have solved the problem. I cannot find a trouble-shooting guide in the Consumer Reference Guide, only information on loading and guides to the various racks. We have hard water and use both dispensers

My Bosch dishwasher has several problems: 1) Water doesn't completely drain out and dishwasher kind-of smells when I open it -- I do keep the filter very clean. 2) The dishwasher takes HOURS to go through one load, no matter what the time says on the display and no matter what type of cycle you choose -- quick, delicate or regular. 3) The red display often displays something that looks like "2h" at the beginning of the cycle. 4) The place where you put the detergent doesn't shut.
