Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

We replaced our flooring a few years back with ceramic flooring which our floor approx. 3/4 inch. We now want to replace our dishwasher but find that the opening is now 335/8 and the standard height of a dishwasher is 34 inches . We also have a granite countertop. The tile floor does not extend underneath the current dishwasher. how can we install the new dishwasher???

Answers :

Hi,

Rather than Going for Different Adjustments, you could Buy a Dishwasher with Small Height. Bosch have so many Dishwasher's that could Actually Fit within those Dimensions without any problem.

Even Hotpoint and Hoover have Models where the Height is Adjustable but Bosch is the Successful One. You could Call up Bosch or Speak to the Dealer and you would be able to Find many Options.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
Depending on the model you may be able to remove the adjustable feet and rear wheels. I may require removing or trimming the tile in front of the opening. Outside of lifting the granite top which has been done in extreme cases, you have few options here but it can be done.

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher. It has not been fixed and never dried the dishes properly. It is now leaking and going to a "del" level when we attempt to wash the dishes. It is also leaking on our fairly new tiled floor and under our new kitchen cabinet. Your tech stated the dishwasher was not installed properly. The installation dept , Francine stated it is not their problem

Leaking dishwasher There is standing water in the dishwasher when it's not being used. Recently we had a garbage disposal installed and was wondering whether this may cause the water from the sink to settle in the dishwasher. Also, the water rises and leaks on the floor. We have to run a wash cycle to drain and dry out the dishwasher. What do you think the problem is?

Hello, I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher, model KUDS30IVWH3. The dishes have not been getting as clean lately, the bottom is decent but the top rack is not getting very clean. Also, when I open the door after the cycle is done, there's a bunch of detergent at the bottom of the door and on the floor of the dishwasher, like it isn't getting sprayed all over or something. Don't know if I have to check the water intake valve or if maybe the sprayers could be partially clogged.
