\015\012\015\012Thank You for using\015\012FixYa. To start with check the pump and try to clean it out, then check drain\015\012hose for any obstruction. Also check for a bad bearing on the spray arm. If\015\012still the issue is not resolved then it’s the motor that makes the noise you hear.\015\012The motor has bearings in it which may become worn or get rusty. When the\015\012bearings get worn, they allow the shaft to wobble which can get quite loud. If\015\012there is a spin seal leak, water may get inside the motor, washing the bearing\015\012grease away. If the spin seal is leaking, you’ll notice water leaking from\015\012under the dishwasher. There is also a disc attached to the top of the motor\015\012called a slinger. It sometimes breaks off and spins around the motor's shaft\015\012while it turns, causing some noises. You will need to replace the motor if the\015\012bearings are bad. You also need to replace the motor if the slinger is broken\015\012as well. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else\015\012revert for further assistance.

We have tried a rinse agent, too. The upper arm gets blocked when we spin it when open ... probably not spinning well in the cycle. any ideas to fix it would be great!

I have a MDB4630AWS1 series dishwasher that is only a couple of weeks old. Suddenly, it now starts the wash cycle but then the Cancel/Drain light turns red, and it drains and stops the cycle. Check for items blocking the sprayers and looked for anything clogging the interior. It does this with all the settings. Seems to work for a few minutes, but then it just drains and stops. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We keep getting the message that the wash arm is blocked (Heavy/Rinse), yet the arm is free. We have replaced everything in the drawer that might impede the arm. We have checked the arm for food blockage, but there is none. Moved the rotors around to different drawers. We have replaced the rotor and the pump motor. Still get the message. It is annoying to receive the message four or five times a cycle. I think it is whatever is sensing the arm block, but have no idea what that might be. Af

Dishwasher is making a loud grinding noise when it's started. Doesn't matter the cycle choice; the cycle starts as normal then once started up starts making a sort of grinding noise as the water is pulsing, like something is stuck or blocking the "push" of water. I couldn't see anything stuck in the bottom - any thoughts before I call a repair person? I've never owned a dishwasher before - maybe there's a basic drain/blockage thing I should check out first? And, any recommendations for repair

My granddaughter has recently rented an apartment and the dishwasher leaves undissolved clumps & loose bits of dishwasher detergent powder once the cycle is complete. I have a Whirlpool Dishwasher DU1345XTVB about 5 years old. It functions perfectly but is not cleaning the dishes well particularly the top rack. The arms spin, soap dispenser works, cycles properly--just doesn't get the food off. I checked the arms to see if the are blocked but don't appear to be as the dishes get wet. Thanks

There are a few things to do. The water temperature is a big contributor, in dishes not getting clean. Another is the type of detergent being used. Liquid dishwasher detergent with water softeners and a drying agent will help loosen food too. If ... Dishwashers

- the dishes and glassware on the top rack are not coming out clean - I checked the course strainer to see if it is being blocked but don't see any thing there - I also took out the spray arm that sprays up into the top rack and ran water through it with a hose - it also appears to be free of clogs. - I don't see the spray arm spinning when I open the door during the wash cycle - - lastly, it may be unrelated, but the dishes are not coming out of the washer as hot as they used to be any i

I have an asko D3450 dishwasher. Washer makes buzzing/humming noise at start of cycle and then randomly through cycle. I checked the sump and pump appears to be clean and impeller spins freely. The cycle seems to work ok. Water is pumping out ok. If you open the door to stop the cycle, the buzzing will continue for a few minutes then stop. If the cycle is restart, the buzzing starts again. The vibrations seem to originate from under the lower spin arm.

I have a new FDB520RHS2A Frigidaire dishwasher which remains in the wash cycle after I've started it. It sounds as if it is changing cycles but the wash light stays lit and never switches to rinse. The machine continues to run for hours if I don't stop it. We've checked the drain to the garbage disposal and it is clear. the water temp seems to be hot enough but how do I check that? Any ideas on what we should check before we bring it back to the store? Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! We just installed our LG LDF8812WW built in dishwasher. We ran our first cycle and after the wash cycle the dishwasher displayed error code OE. I read that it meant there is a problem with the drainage, and to check the hose if it is kinked. Well, the hose is not kinked and we have no idea why it would have a problem with the draining. We have the hose set up per the installation instructions. How can we check to for something clogged? Any suggestions?

My dishwasher made some really grindy, crunchy sounds the last time it worked. I unscrewed the float and checked for debris in it, nothing there. When I got that off, there was a circular black fan-type thing under it(the motor??), that spins around and seems to be held in place with only one screw. I tried to access underneath that, and it doesn't want to do anything but spin around. How do I remove that to check underneath?? I don't want to break it. I put it all back together and tried run

I own a KUDS01FLSS3 KitchenAid dishwasher. The lights on the control panel do not come on and a cycle can not be started. There is about an inch of water in the bottom of the dishwasher basin and it looks like the previous cycle did not complete. I have checked the wall outlet that the washer is plugged into and the washer is receiving power from the wall. And ideas? My next thought was to take the door off and check the power supply running to the door panel and control panel.
