Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

Bosch Classixx dishwasher: Initially no water feed and 'water check' light came on. Removed side panel, emptied water from base. Ran OK for a week or so. The problem then repeated so side panel removed, float switch operation checked (OK) drained water from sump below polystyrene float. Ran OK but contents came out dirty and cold - no heat. Side panels off again, water in base but no obvious leak when watched during cycle - still no heat. Help please.

This\015\012valve is usually at the bottom left or right of the dishwasher, behind the\015\012lower access panel. It's the device with the main water line from the house, a\015\012rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it. If the water-inlet valve is defective, you need to\015\012completely replace it. If you have checked all these and still there is no heat then it means its due to the heating element going bad. Leaking from underneath. Water appears from under basboard to the right of dishwasher, not from directly in front. Only seems to leak during rinse cycle and has just started recently. I have taken the front panel off but am not sure where the float device is located - I am wondering if it is just to the left of what looks like a solenoid. Dishwasher Leak I found water on the floor in front of my dishwasher one morning so I removed the panel and ran the dishwasher to check for leaks and found none. I did check all the gaskets on the inside and they appeared okay. I again ran the dishwasher and had no leaks at that time, however, the last two mornings after I have found water in front of the dishwasher.

I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)

Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB740RC. Not cleaning dishes well. Just in the past couple weeks. When the dishwasher fills with water, how full should it get. When mine fills, it definitely doesn't go up to the element, and just barely makes it to the float switch (not enough to trigger it), makes it to just below the base of it, doesn't come up the side of it at all. Is this normal, or should there be more water. The Water valve has been replaced already.

Hi there My Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher is tripping out the fusebox RCD and I think there is an earthing problem. It will run for 3 or 4 minutes and then the house alarm goes off and the cooker clock needs resetting! I have tried to look in the back but don't know how to remove the panels. I've tried tipping it to 45 degrees to see if there is any water in the innards but non water came out. I have no idea what to look for - and no manual to help me get inside the beast!
