Hi there, you can get a product that has extra cleaning power designed for dishwashers to clean stubborn grease and calcium deposits. It works great and also clean up the waste hose and pump and valves in the machine. If the door seal is covering the grease in the front corner, you may have to clean it yourself as theat places it outside the washer.

Dishwasher Issues My dishwasher is not properly dispensing the dishwasher soap. The flap on the soap container seems to be opening, but the soap is always caked in there after the cycle is finished. I have tried leaving the soap flap open, but that just seems to deposit soap particles on the dishes in the front of the bottom rack. Also, there is often a greasy film left on many of my dishes. Is this a soap issue or a water issue? I am very frustrated! Can you help?

My Kenmore Elite dishwasher (model 665.17462300) is not spraying the water from the basin in the bottom up through the rest of the dishwasher. The basin fills with water, then just makes a humming noise and appears to splash a little of the water around the very bottom of the dishwasher. When we cancel the cycle, it does drain out the water from the basin. I cleaned all the gunk and debris out of the basin in the bottom, but it didn't make any difference.
