Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

Whirlpool DWF417W, Type 12155 A couple of weeks ago the machine failed to empty, leaving dirty water in the machine at the end of the cycle. Start a new program it emptied & all was then well. A couple of days ago we started a wash cycle as normal, shut the door, the pump normally runs for about 10 seconds then the cycle starts. However the pump just runs continuously?? After looking here there seemed to be a few links to the subject of water being in the base & the anti flood switch being ac

\015\012\015\012Thanks\015\012for using FixYa. Dishwasher not draining properly or not draining at all issues\015\012can arise due to different reasons. Usually, these issues are related to\015\012kinked hoses, knocked out disposer unit (if connected with the dishwasher drain\015\012hose) & clogged drain pump & filter. Also note that dishwashers do not\015\012drain completely after a finished cycle and this is normal. Dishwashers are\015\012designed to leave some water in the unit to ensure that the heating element\015\012doesn’t overheat. As you have already checked the drain & it is not clogged\015\012or blocked and the line is not kinked, then check all the hoses for blockages\015\012& also clean the air gap. If you have checked the drain hose and can’t\015\012locate the problem, then it is an issue with the drain pump of the dishwasher\015\012that has gone bad and should be replaced. Please do accept the solution if the\015\012issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Over the past two years, the machine has occasionally stopped in mid cycle, while the pump continues to run, but the cycle stops advancing. Each time there has been water in the plastic pan under the pump, valves, and other mechanisms. The float switch has been tripped, stopping the cycle. Occasionally. but not always, the pump inlet has been partially obstructed by food waste. After bailing out the pan, the machine will run normally for weeks or months. My Bosch diswasher is hanging up in the cycle (at 102 mins. in normal cycle and 38 mins in quick cycle). I hear what sounds like a one second pumping of water into the sink area, a pause, and then another one second pumping of water, on and on, but there's no progression beyond this point. One possible cause: a few weeks ago someone turned off the hot water at the heater and another person tried to run the dishwasher. The dishwasher did not function because it could not get hot water. Dishwasher won't drain. (Kenmore 3380957Rev A) It's been not draining that well for a couple of months, but then a couple of weeks ago, it just won't let the last inch of water out. --I can't see in the center area under the plastic to see if something is clogging it. --I tried running it on three different cycles to see if that changed anything (Pots and Pans, Normal, and Water Miser). No difference. It never seems to overflow, but when the cycle is over, it has a couple of inches of

Asko dw20 pump keeps running even with door open and turned off... The machine got to the final cycle then the pump just keeps running and the glass icon (L2) keeps flashing. All the water is not evacuated from the washer. When I power off from the front the drain pump still runs (and water is still not draining). When I power cycle from the mains (waiting 10 seconds) the pump engages again and the water level drops a bit and then stops draining. I have done this until all the water is empty an

Hello, I have a Kitchen Aid (model # KUDMO1T JWHO) dishwasher that runs the motor in all cycles, with water fill & drain working fine, but the pump is not pumping water during any cycle, as the spinners and the inside of the washer are dry when I open the door, except for the water sitting in the bottom. Also, no normal swishing sound of water when the motor runs in any cycle. Looks to me like a mechanical break in the pump drive. How do I check the pump drive on this model? Do you have any

Bosch SHX46A (6 years old) Selected regular cycle, pressed On and closed door. Cycle did not start normally. Pump runs, but no water is coming into the DW. I confirmed the water supply line is turned on. I opened door, turned off On/Off switch, then poured water into drain. Then turned On/Off switch on. DW began pumping water OUT of the DW. Also, it doesn't matter if the door is open or closed - if you turn the DW on, the pump will run. I suspect a problem with the electrical controls, or perha

My G832SC is not draining at the end of the cycle. It runs the entire cycle, and the dishes appear to be clean. The soap dispenser has opened and the dishes are rinsed. However, the dry cycle doesn't run because the machine doesn't drain at the end. The intake/drain light is flashing. If I reset the machine and start a new cycle, it will perform an initial drain and the water level does go down. We checked the tri-filter and the valve pump thing, rinsed both. Checked the hose under the sink. We

My WHirlpool dishwasher won't drain - basin is full of water. Machine starts and runs the drain cycle, but something is clogged. I opened up the bottom, and pulled off the drain hose to the disposal, and that had no water in it, so the clog is somewhere before the water gets to the hose. If I run the dishwasher drain cycle, it is not pumping water into the hose. What next?

The clog could be in the hose,or on up in the mouth of the drain, air pressure might dislodge the clog,or dissasible of the drain pan in the machine. ... Dishwashers

My ariston lsv 66 dishwasher will not start washing cycle. It makes the pumping noise as it normally does at the start of the cycle and some water enters the bottom of the machine but then it stops.
