I have a maytag mdb4000aww dish washer. The dishes aren't getting consistently clean. I wanted to clean the trap/filter. There's two ports towards the front side. The one on the right i was able to remove and clean. The one on the left moves up and down but i can't seem to be able to remove it (without breaking it). Any advice?
What must I do if the rinse compartment is plugged???

I have the same model. i have to clean out the sprayer arm about 1x per month in order for sihes to get clean. i remove it from unit and hold it over sink. using very small tweezers i remove crud from the holes. by running water through and truning it over several times you can get the pieces of crud to fill the holes and then remove them.

The upper rack side rail is loose where it attaches to the side wall of the dishwasher. It allows the upper rack to wobble. When the dishwasher is turned on, the force of the water pushes the rack forward so it detaches from the water supply and the arm does not rotate. The arm and connection are all clear and the arm is able to rotate, so those problems are not a factor. The wheels are in good condition. The left rail is a little loose; the right one is very loose. I am trying to replace the GUIDE RAIL BRACKET ASM on my GE dishwasher (model no. GSM1800JWW). How do I either: (a) remove the old brackets, and then install the new ones; or (b) remove the rollers from my new brackets, so that I could slip these rollers onto the old brackets still in the dishwasher, saving the trouble of removing the old brackets in the first place? Either solution would be acceptable, but right now I can't figure out how to do either one without breaking something. Thank you v

Our Amana ADB1500AWW dishwasher leaks at far left and far right edges ( at bottom points) of the inside door panel due to a design flaw. ie - In the fully open position ( door in horizontal position) the far left and far right edges (at bottom) of inside plastic door panel are stressed beyond what the plastic can withstand consequently the edges of the panel crack as far as 3 inches from edge to inside. This crack is very small and cannot be seen until the panel is removed and then full insp

I have a Kenmore dishwasher (model 363.14478791). I hadn't used the dishwasher in a month. I turned on the dishwasher tonight and noticed nothing was happening, but I was getting a clicking sound. I moved the dial to the right to off. As I moved the dial to the right, there were lots of clicks and clunks. I started over and turned the dial to the start position. Some water went in, but then nothing happened again. I clicked forward one click at a time. Sometimes water came in. Then water star

After dishwasher was started, and water stared to enter the machine, it was unlatched and left with the lever in the open position for some time. The control dial had automatically moved 5/6 degrees clockwise and left there. Now the machine does not want to start no matter what I do. Power is to the machine, latch is moved to the right, but nothing happens. What's next. Thanks for any help you can give.

Poor drying, mold building up in the tub. The condensing drying system is not working well. I pulled the unit out and removed a panel on the left side (facing washer). Saw that the plastic box that appears to be set up for moist air removal and vents to the tub had considerable mold in it at the top of one of the passage ways. Looked like it might be blocking air flow. Could this be a cause of poor drying? Can this unit be removed and cleaned? Also soap isn't dissolving. Bad board controllin

Dishwasher leaking Our dishwasher all of a sudden started leaking. I've taken the front panel off the door and can see exactly where. It's not a hole or anything...it's at the front, left edge of the basin, the bottom left corner at the front. It seems that right after it fills with water, it starts to leak once water is moving around inside and washing cycle starts. It is as if big waves are being pushed to the front left corner and over the lip of the basin. I don't think the water level is to

I want to remove the white plastic wheel that propels water into the circulating arms. It is held with one screw which I cannot seem to be able to loosen. This white plastic wheel has 2 small holes in the surface which are perhaps there for some special tool to hold the wheel stationary in order to loosen the screw holding this wheel in place. Underneath this gray plastic housing is the heating element. I want to remove it in order to clean accumulated deposits of gunk.

By the time I recieved info, I'd already removed the intake valve, removed some debris from the screen, and was ready to test the movement of the solinoid valve. Right now,I can blow a little air thru either end while applying AC, and it stops tight w/o AC. If this is normal, I'll reasemble the unit. At least I was able to vacuum much insulation that a resident mouse had deposited on the floor years ago.

I have an LG dishwasher LD2120WH and the waste water pipe has split right where ti endered the machine. The dishwasher was recently removed for floor refinishing and reinstalled. The bottom rotor works but the top rotor does not. I asked the re-installer, who worked for the moving company, if he had connected everything properly and he said there was just one water line going into the machine and assured me he had connected it properly. Is there something else that needs to be done to make the top rotor operational? Thanks. John M

We have a Fisher& Paykel dishwasher with 2 drawers -- one on top of the other. Model DD603. The bottom drawer works fine. But the top drawer is not working properly -- it repeatedly stops in the middle of the cycle and there is water left in the drawer. He seemed a little embarrassed by having to charge for a service call for
