I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (2004) and recently it has been leaking internally at a very slow pace. When not in use it will slowly fill until the floor of the unit is filled and then leak onto the kitchen floor unless we press the drain button and then it drains completely. The water seems to be coming from the front of the washer, potentially from the door itself. The amount of leakage is barely discernible but will fill over the course of a 24 hour period. The dishwasher otherwise wo

I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)

Maytag mdb7100awb dishwasher is leaking from the bottom right corner. starts to leak almost immediately upon starting it. I then opened it and found that the entire tub is filled with water, looks like it is overfilled. I wonder whether it is overfilling and there might be a clog in the drain or if it's the seal/gasket? where are the drains that i need to check for blockage?

10 year old Kenmore Ultra is leaking early in the washing cycle. Wondering if this is worth fixing or need to bite the wallet and buying a new one. I am worried about affecting the new cabinets even though the dishes seemed to be clean on the two occasions that the dishwasher has leaked. Only need a somewhat simple machine- I'd appreciate any suggestions as to what brands I should research if buy is the conclusion. Thanks.

At 10 years old I wouldn't put much if any money into it. Do check the water connections as it may be something simple that just needs to be tightened or a washer replacement. Door switch works because opening door prevents starting drain cycle. No other button on control panel will work except for the 'air dry' / 'lockout' button. Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. I filled the base of the dishwasher with water to see if it drains properly. It seems to be draining, but also leaking out of the base as well..? Any ideas?.

We recently bought a house with a Kenmore 363.16222100 (?) dishwasher. No manual. Monday night it didn't drain properly and leaked some water on the kitchen floor. The cycle had finished when we saw the water on the floor. We bailed out the excess water. I took off the drain cover and insert. I couldn't see an obvious clog problem, but cleaned it out. Then I tried a short cycle, interrupting it to shorten it. No problem. Water seemed to drain fine. I did find a part that looked like a straw and

I disconnected the drain line (tried to blow through line to tub, NO GO) so I started it and ran it into the sink. Blanco BFDW6 dishwasher drains and sounds like it is going to start but stops after 2-3 seconds. Yesterday it was playing up and made a fairly small puddle on the floor. Electrics seem to have been a problem from early on as after a few months it would let me open it during the beginning of the cycle to add items without needing to restart program. I am not sure if problem is electric (may need a reset?) or due to anti-flood feature.

Hi! Our Kenmore Ultra dishwasher is about 11 yrs old. Recently started overflowing onto the floor. Seems to be worse with soap, less when just water. BOSCH Dishwasher Problem I have a dishwasher (SHV46C13UC/33) that when I start any of the three cycles it continues to run until I open it and do the 'cancel' function. The 'rinse/drain' seems to be running fine, but there is a film left after that mode. I've checked the water inlet, which is open and fine. And, it does drain properly. Is there a SENSOR I need to clean periodically? Or, is the man control module the problem? What's going on?

Holding water There is water in the bottom of the machine after the cycle is done. There is definitely draining going on throughout the cycle, but it's not draining completely at the end -and the water that is left is murky. Broken Glass Hi! A glass bowl shattered into 10,000 pieces inside out dishwasher. We cleaned out what we could but there is glass stuck in the bottom. It seems like a no-brainer not to run it, but I will ask, will it hurt the dishwasher to run it and let the glass drain out? Is there an easy way I can fix it or do we need to bring in an expert?
