GE Potscrubber 650 Dishwasher, 13 years old. We want to take the front lower panel off to move the motor fan by hand, as you described for glideston'es post, but we can't figure out how to get the panel off. A repairman told us to remove the three screws at the top of the lower panel -- but they are too close to the upper door panel. The space between the two panels is not big enough to fit a screwdriver or any other tool we can think of. How do we remove the lower panel?

The problem started with it not draining correctly and leaving water in the bottom - my husband took it apart and found a bolt in the drain. He removed it and now it won't start. It appears to not have power to the electrical panel- we have reset the breaker several times - left the breaker off for 10 minutes thinking it might erase the memory - I've asked for instructions to reset and I keep getting info that is very far removed from this model. I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)

My deceased parents have a GE dishwasher (don't know the model number - can't find it on the machine and can't find the paper work) that stops working shortly you start it and displays a message on the front panel that says "Blocked wash arm - check for wash arm obstruction - restart". We restart it and get the same message shorty thereafter. This happens when the washer is COMPLETELY EMPTY, even when we remove the bottom rack. It first started after several month of inactivity. A glass shattered in a thousand pieces in the dishwasher. I cleaned and vacuumed everything except the very bottom that I can't get to. I took out 8 screws, removing the round rotator piece at the bottom, but that still doesn't get me into the very bottom where I'm certain there is still glass. Question #1 - Will leaving the glass down there hurt anything? Question #2 - If yes, how do I get the rest of the part off without damaging it? I have a 10+ yr old Model DU920QWDB3 Thank y

The glass should just go down the drain from there. I doubt any piece that made it into there should damage anything as they are would have to be pretty small and as big as any food particle that could fit into there so you should be fine. If you rea ... Whirlpool Dishwashers

My SGS55M72AU/65 does not get rid of its drain water, although that wee pump in the bottom is clearly working (which I could see after removing filters and pump cover).
