Just purchased and installed the LG LDS4821 dishwasher, instantly got the OE error code when we tested it. After following troubleshooting tips and calling customer service, error code still not resolved. Hose is not kinked, hose is not clogged (as no dishes have even been washed in it), and it's level. Does anyone have any idea what we could do to fix this problem?

Viking dishwasher, after pressing normal cycle button, then the start button, the dishwasher begins to run (doesn't seem like there's water enters), then it runs for about 5' and shuts off by itself, the entire cycle is about 5-10min. E1 error is failed wash motor it sounds like when it goes to do the second wash its overloading the only other thing it could be is the the inlet valve check to see if the water is coming in before it dies. p.s. as a former service agent for lg the g ... Dishwashers

I am wondering if I can reset the drawer using the front buttons to get it back to factory default. Bottom drawer works fine. I have a similar problem to another person. The drain on the dish drawer was blocked. The unit now shows an F1 error code ( flood?) and the pump runs continuously even after I've unblocked everything. I've tried switching it off for ages and drying everything out. When I switch it on again it shows the wash programme but then reverts to F1 and the pump motor runs continuously. Any ideas to cancel the F1 code?

The flood sensor on this unit is a PC board in the base, so you would need to remove the lower drawer and dry it out under there. Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. I have the E3 error on my Smeg DWI614 dishwasher which would indicate a heater error, however it is heating the water in the bottom of the machine but it seems to time out. The main issue seems to be that the recirc. pump is not running during the heating phase. I have taken the pump out, checked the connections etc. twice now and everything seems fine (the motor runs when tested). When I have done this (both times) the dishwasher has started again and run for 20+ cycles fine, then the issue com

OE Error I'm getting an OE error which is a drainage trouble error. I checked the hose and the drain, and everything is clear. My diswhwasher runs 98% of its full cycle and usually with 2 minutes to go I get this error. I have 2 opinins as to why this is happeneing. 1. Maybe the clog is in my trash compactor, however that seems to be working fine and my sink is funning with no slow down. 2. My 2nd theory is I have to reset the progam within the dishwasher. I recently had the e4 error code on my new world dw60 dishwasher. I have since opened it up and replaced the heater element, which appears to have resolved that issue. However, in the process of doing this I incorrectly installed the flood switch back into place, meaning that it was in its closed position (i.e. the position it would be when activated by a flooded base) when I went to turn the dishwasher back on. I have since opened it back up and correctly installed the flood switch, but I ca

My lower rack will not clean bowls or cups and I have to be very careful how I place plates. The serviceman has been out twice and I have run vinegar through multiple times with no improvement. My top rack is working fine. I have tried running it on different settings and we have verified that the lower wash arm seems to be spinning. The temperature seems to be fine. Even glasses placed on the lower rack that weren't very dirty seem to have a scum in them when finished. Any ideas?
