I have a Bosch Dishwasher, Model SHE46C06UC. No mater what cycle I start it in, it simply activates the drain and continues to run without ever starting. Within the last week prior to the dishwasher not working, I noticed a low hum/vibration emitting from the dishwasher. I've clean out the screen and drain filter, removed the pump cover to check for any debris. I've manually added water and it does drain. Additionally, the drain cycle continues to operate even with the door open.

First thing you may want to check is the door switch. You can pull it off and measure the resistance with an ohmmeter. If you get good reading while pushed in and none while switch button is released, then it is a good start. Next, you may want ... Dishwashers

Westinghouse Virtuoso 922 dishwasher. Wash cycle completes, but water does not drain out. If I let the cycle continue, after a delay the rinse cycle starts, but of course no clean water is pumped in so the dishes are "rinsed" in the dirty wash water. The wash cycle itself is successful with water pumping all around the washer if I open the door mid-cycle. I have removed and cleaned all filters which were correctly fitted so I am confident there is no foreign matter inside pump. When the water sh

Hello, my Bosch Classixx dishwasher SGS43E42EU/21 has me stumped. It starts by taking in water but when "filled" pumps out for a couple of seconds then refills for say 10 seconds more before another 2 or 3 seconds of pumping out. This cycle continues for ages without starting to wash. I've tried various things: - checked the Auto Stop valve isn't being activated by leakage (removing the polystyrene float and bottom tray makes no difference - there's no leak) - the valve seems to operate it

Hello Dave,\015\012\015\012Sounds like an overfill problem - the symptoms are consistent with a failed pressure switch. Water enters the dishwasher through a chamber which has a float arm connected to a small microswitch -this is the pres ... Bosch Dishwashers

We ran a cycle with 'Lemi Shine' a hard water treatment (Lime remover). After that cycle, the tub will fill and drain, but the water does not reciculate. So, I assume the deposits loosened and then clogged either the recirculation pump or a sensor that activates it. I don't know how to determin that or how to access the senors/floats. I do know if it's the pump that's clogged, I have to remove the thing and flip it on its top to access, but don't know the details.

Hi. Both the drain hose and recirculation hoses should be checked, asap. These hoses are connected to the pump assembly and they can also both become obstructed, as well. I would purge these hoses and check the pump filter and fine particle screen fo ... Bosch 24 in. SHY66C05 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

GLD4050 DW won't pump out at any time during wash cycle. Removed lower arm, screen, etc. and washed and cleaned out everything. Removed drain hose and cleaned it out. Reinstalled and ran again. At no time during he cycle does the water pump out. HOWEVER, if I put my hand on the drain pump I can feel and hear the pump running as usual at the right times in the cycle. What else could be preventing the pump out? Thanks!

Miele Dishwasher Model G1040, Type HG03, NR: 32/65143704 The machine is three years old. The cycle reaches almost to the end, then all three LEDs merge together, and the pump runs continuously, even with the master switch off. I have taken the machine out and removed the base plate. When I first took the machine out of its position, I tipped it backwards and water came out of the bottom. Fills with water, sounds like it starts to pump water then stops, then start again. It attempts to start pumping water 3 or 4 times them turns off leaving the water in the tub. I have read about the water needing to heat up for the cycle to advance. When I check the water that is left in the tub it is warm but not hot. The heating element is not hot either. I did a continuity test on the heating element and it seems to check out ok. I also did a continuity test on the red wire from the heating e

Dishwasher pumps dry, adds and heats water, but does not go through wash cycle. It apparently continues through all cycles, but never pumps the water through the spray arms in either wash or rinse cycles. spray arms are both free and clean, no debris anywhere obvious.

I have an Asko w66 front load washing machine that will only wash one way with a 60 second time delay and washes the same way again instead of reversing. At no time will it wash the other way. At the first spin cycle the water is pumped out but the wash drum will not spin. The pump continues to pump and will not stop while the one way wash continues. The timer stops at this point with the one way wash and pump still pumping continuously.

I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)

I have an asko D3450 dishwasher. Washer makes buzzing/humming noise at start of cycle and then randomly through cycle. I checked the sump and pump appears to be clean and impeller spins freely. The cycle seems to work ok. Water is pumping out ok. If you open the door to stop the cycle, the buzzing will continue for a few minutes then stop. If the cycle is restart, the buzzing starts again. The vibrations seem to originate from under the lower spin arm.
