Hi.

If there is no voltage to valve, then parts that can be responsible are only and all the following:

Overfill switch or overfill device.
Door switch.
Electronic control
Wiring.

If the overfill switch is a simple float switch, then it is tested running a cycle with the switch jumped. Reading Ohms while opening and closing the switch is also a good test, but only tests the switch, and may not reveal mechanical problems.

Same about the door lock switch. A good test is running a cycle with switch jumped. Other test is done disconnecting door switch at electronic control module and reading Ohms while the door is closed (turn off power first). Jumping its much easier.

wiring are tested reading if there is continuity between control module and inlet valve.

Here all parts and diagrams for this appliance.

Regards.

Ginko.
Okay, so you say you have water to the inlet valve...
\015\012you also say that you tested the valve and the valve is fine....
\015\012but you have no water entering the dishwasher...Hmmmmmm...
\015\012
\015\012there is something wrong with this picture....
\015\012
\015\012Either there is no water... the valve is not good... or you are not getting power to the valve...
\015\012
\015\012have you checked for power to the valve???
\015\012
\015\012Seems like the only thing that can be wrong is the power issue...
\015\012
\015\012or did you actually blow through the valve when you tested it or did it just sound like it was opening???
\015\012
\015\012The answer to your problem is in these possibilities...

Whirlpool Quiet Wash Plus dishwasher Model DU920PFGZ3. Worked fine until I replaced the insinkerator and forgot to punch the drain plug leaving water standing on the bottom of the machine. I punched the drain opening, and pushed the cancel/drain cycle button. It drained fine but since no water comes from the spray arms. I have removed the arm all the way down..NOTHING!! Some research indicated it could be the water inlet valve. When the buttons are pushed, it cycles but no spray or water.

This a message for phil. The aquastop valve was not under the dishwasher. On my model, it was fitted directly onto the water inlet pipe. I replaced the valve as you suggested. After removing the old valve you could see through the clear plastic housing that water was leaking inside the valve. Anyway replaced valve but had to split wires and reconnect with connections supplied with the valve and according to instructions. Water leak has now stopped but when 'on' button is depresse

I have an Asko 1585 dishwasher. It drops the inlet valve on step (step 12), and the recirculation pump (next step) tries to pump with no water. Later at about step 47, the inlet valve begins to work again and the dishwasher finishes the cycle without a problem. I have had the board checked, and all of the power supply and transfer circuits are good. That leaves the processor. Is there any combination of buttons to press which can completely reset the controller board?

My Zanussi DS17 slimline dishwasher is leaking from below the door at the front. The inside seals all seem to be fine, but the catchment moulding below the door (which is revealed at the front when the door is opened) is filling up with water, and then overflowing. If I switch off, open the machine & pour an extra pint of water in, shut the door & switch on again the wash takes place and completes perfectly to specification.
