My 5 year old bosch dishwasher cycles to one minute and then cycles forever and ever with very soapy water in the bottom. After a very long time, the water is out of the dishwasher but soap residue is left on the dishes and the bottom ot the dishwasher. We are presently using only 1/2 teaspoon of detergent (Finish brand). I have had a repairman here to look at it, but he didn't seem confident that it was a timer issue and even though I have paid the exorbitant service call fee, I am not sure I wa

Incomplete cycle My Miele dishwasher (3 to 4 years old) finishes, leaving the dishes dirty and wet. It seems that it may only be running through part of the cycle - I'm not sure but from the time I set it going to the time it switches off, it seems shorter than usual. The dishwasher is not emptying as it has a pool of water in the bottom. I have tried various settings and have the same problem. the inlet/drain light DOES NOT come on. I have soaked up all the residue on the bottom and cleaned out

Dishwasher Issues My dishwasher is not properly dispensing the dishwasher soap. The flap on the soap container seems to be opening, but the soap is always caked in there after the cycle is finished. I have tried leaving the soap flap open, but that just seems to deposit soap particles on the dishes in the front of the bottom rack. Also, there is often a greasy film left on many of my dishes. Is this a soap issue or a water issue? I am very frustrated! Can you help?

New dishwasher (Beko 2542F slimline model). Put it on for 1st time last night -when I got up this morning, the cycle which should have taken just over 2 hours hadn't finished. There's soapy water in the bottom of the machine which hasn't drained and the "wash" light is still on. Looks like the dishes are clean but hasn't moved onto the rinse/dry part. Followed instruction in manual to drain it (hold start stop button till lights flash and should drain in 45 sec) but nothing happened.

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? When my dishwasher completes its cycle, there is powdered detergent left in the dispenser and the dishes aren't as clean as they use to be. This started happening after I ran a HI TEMP WASH with a SANI RINSE cycle. I'm thinking that either the detergent dispenser door is opening late or the water is not getting hot enough. To check the dispenser door, I left the door open and just poured powder into the dispenser compartment. This did not improve the cleaning.
