Having problems with your Dishwashers ?
I have a rheem electric 81v528 water heater. I drained it but there is still so much calcium residue I have to clean faucet filters around the house once a week. How do I get this sediment out of my water heater. I have never attempted any repair on a water heater so please be very elementary. Can I put Clr or limeaway in the tank to disolve?

FDW60 Fault Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My dishwasher starts and washes ok but appears to get very hot during the drying phase and then the two lights fast and eco flash warning of a heater problem. I suspect either the heater, thermostat or control PCB. As the rest of the cycle seems of and the water gets hot then I'm assuming the heater and thermostat are OK. When the dishwasher attempts to dry is when the problem starts. Did anyone find out what there fault was? Thanks

After replacing a hotwater heater I was unable to get water flow from several faucets because of sediment. I think the same problem with water is happening in the dishwasher. Where would sediment collect in the model gu1200xt lq1?
Likely, the water inlet valve might have some sediment jamming the valve action. If there is none left on the deck of the washer, then any entering past the intake valve is likely being washed out to the drain. If you have no water fill when starting ... Whirlpool 24 in. Maytag Dishwasher Model MDB4100AWQ When I start the Light Wash Cycle: Washer fills with water, heater comes on (I checked it with a volt meter--120 volts), timer runs, motor never runs, before the timer gets to "rinse" the heating delay light on the door comes on and the timer stops. The heater is still on (120volts) nothing further happens it just boils away on the water in the washer. Note: If I manually forward the timer to "rinse" the motor will kick in and run but does not pump out w

My dishwasher after the cycle is over still have a bit of dirty water remaining on the bottom. After few hours is getting more and more dirty water. I have a feeling that some kind of the valve is not working correctly which allows the water from the sink drain to come back? Am I right? Is it a big re[pair or marginal? My dishwasher is about 20 + years old and still the greates one I owned ( I had before Bosh ). I own the dishwaser for last 4 years but previous owner loved it and never repair

Even though I turned up the thermostat on my hot water heater, the water in the dishwasher does not seem to be hot enough. Mold is growing in the food grinder and even though I choose the heat dry option, the dishes are never dry. Yet, when I touched the element, I got burned. The dishes are not getting clean because it doesn't seem to be hot enough to cut the grease.

Hotpoint LFT 114 dishwasher Cycle seems to run OK BUT water cold. No flashing of lights to indicate error, lights appear to behave as normal. Metered the heater element, not open circuit or short circuit. Metered the NTS resistance goes down as temp goes up Dismantled and checked all connections, all seem good. Ran the self test program and it seemed to get stuck in the wash stage, never seemed to move on BUT no error message. Now what, any suggesting please guys??
Purchased in 2003. Dishes were exquisitly clean till 2008. Our water heater temp was set at 140 temp. This heater was replaced with a heater now set at 125 temp. In the past two years dishes are nowhere as clean on the the normal start setting. Should I go to the Pots and Pans start setting to get hotter water or should I turn up my water heater? All this is assuming that water is not hot enough. Does the washer heating element ever burn out?
Try turning on your water at the sink for a while on hot let it run then start the wash cycle that should help. what that will do is let the cold water run out of the pipes and therefore you will have a hot water start. ... Kenmore Dishwashers
Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help. My Viking dishwasher won't fill with water. The motor seems to be running but no water enters the chamber. It's Sunday morning so I'm not able to get a repair person here. I got a response that said ''The ventilators are blocked. Turn it off and have the motor checked'' i was hoping for instructions on how to unblock the ventilators or clean it out. I have a house full of people for the weekend and would love to get this thing back up before Monday when a repair person could come. Any suggestion

Maytag Dishwasher I would like to know the proper water level after DW fills. Older Whirlpool units a quick guide was when water just covered heater. I have a new D/W and the water supply is difficult to access, there is a kink in the water line slowing the water flow. The D/W fills to bottom of heater, but because the unit is so quiet I can't determine if it is timing out or working properly. I intend to repair water line when counter work is done. I have a Bosch SHU9915UC/U11 dishwasher, installed in 2002. Recently, our hot water heater had to be replaced, and we were without hot water for five days. Air got into the hot water pipes, and dried out all the debri in the lines. When we got the new hot water heater going, all of the sediment in the pipes ended up in the in-line screen filters in various appliances (clothes washer, etc.). I have cleaned these out, and these appliances are fine. Since then, the dishwasher has been shutting

My dishwasher (Kenmore Elite 665) doesn't use up all the detergent in the detergent cup - it always leaves a little behind at the end of the cycle. the dishes don't get quite as clean any more, either. I recently replaced my old water heater - we were getting lots of little plastic pieces in our faucet screens. I'm guessing that the water pressure may be low, and that it may be due to the same problem. Is there a screen-type filter that filters the incoming water, before it enters th

My wife noticed the the detergent was smeared all over the door and repeated tries didn't get it out. Therefore, the water is not spraying. Dishwasher is making a loud grinding noise when it's started. Doesn't matter the cycle choice; the cycle starts as normal then once started up starts making a sort of grinding noise as the water is pulsing, like something is stuck or blocking the "push" of water.
