CDA dishwasher - going through its cycles but not pulling water through

Answers :

Ours had exactly the same prob. Nothing worked at first so left ita couple of days...then removed the rotor arms that spin and spray water. I found that the nozzles looked to be blocked. I used a toothbursh to unblock. Put the arms back on and it is working again. My wife thinks that it has done this before. Not impressed by the dishwasher but the oven & hob have been good. All equipment approaching 2 years old.

My trusty Bosch s510 Dishwasher which has been going strong for about 17 years (at least) has just decided not to empty itself. I noticed the bottom was full of water after a wash. I emptied all the water out by hand and presuming there is a blockage in the drain tried using a plunger to unblock it. I have since put it through another cycle and half way through water started leaking out of the front. At the end of the cycle the bottom of the dishwasher was again full of hot 'soapy' water. My WHirlpool dishwasher won't drain - basin is full of water. Machine starts and runs the drain cycle, but something is clogged. I opened up the bottom, and pulled off the drain hose to the disposal, and that had no water in it, so the clog is somewhere before the water gets to the hose. If I run the dishwasher drain cycle, it is not pumping water into the hose. What next?

The clog could be in the hose,or on up in the mouth of the drain, air pressure might dislodge the clog,or dissasible of the drain pan in the machine. ... Dishwashers

GE GHDA485N 10CS Dishwasher that has standing water in the bottom after the cycle completes. I pulled it out and reconnected power and ran a rinse cycle. I could see that water was pumping out the clear drain pipe but there was still about an inch of standing water in the bottom. Any thoughts as to what part has failed. Does the system use a water level switch or a timed drain cycle to determine when the water has pumped out. If it is a timed cycle could a slow drain cause the problem. Thank you

Portable Dishwasher Hello, We just got a used Haier portable dishwasher, model HDP18PA and while the hose connnects fine to the sink, the water isn't going into the dishwasher and is coming out of the connection. Does that make sense? It looks like, if it operates properly, the water should be sucked into the dishwasher but the connector isn't pulling the water in. Help! Thank you! Tara
