Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

I have an Electrolux ESI 6104x. Regularly just after starting the dishwasher as it starts to fill for the first time the water inlet cuts out. If you turn the water off at the mains disconnect the inlet pipe (spilling a bit of water in the process) reconnect the inlet pipe and turn the water back on the dishwasher fills and runs perfectly. This fault used to happen occasionally and now happens regularly.

Answers :

Disconnect the fill pipe from the back of the machine and you should see a small mesh strainer in side the dishwashers inlet valve. Check that this is not dirty - to clean it pull out the strainer and rinse under the tap.

Hi I have a Meile G 685SC Dishwasher. It has a water inlet problem. It will not fill and just keeps cycling through the water filling process with the water inlet light flashing. I have taken off the inlet pipe and removed and cleaned the inlet filter and washer and put them back. The filter was blocked with a sand like substance. I have taken apart the antiflood valve also attached to the inlet pipe but it is gel sealed so unserviceable. The inlet pipe itself on removing from the vlave appears

Hi, we have a Bosch Exxcel dishwasher which mid way through a cycle a button saying Check Water came on. we turned the machine off and opened the door and found loads of water in the bottom. my husband then scooped all the water out and cleaned filter in the bottom, where we did find some bits of plastic from the kids yoghurt pots, and took the water hose off the back and checked for blockages, which there was none. the water is certainly coming from the water pipe through the hose as we tested

I have a Delonghi dishwasher model no. DW67S/W which is coming up with the E4 message. I had this once before and was told to turn it off and on and it righted itself. This time however I used the next bit of advice. I took everything out including the salt cap thing, tipped it on its side and drained all the water out, reconnected the hoses and when I turned it back on it seemed fine....no E4 messaage straight away. I was replacing my sink faucet today and in the process turned the water off to the dishwasher. Subsequently my girlfriend ran the dishwasher without the water on! Now when I go to run the dishwasher no water comes out (meanwhile I've turned the water to the dishwasher back on). Is there some kind of reset? I accidently touched the coil in the bottom of the dishwasher just after trying to run it and it was hot. What do you recommend? Thanks. Mark

Shu9925uc/14 bosch dishwasher leaves standing water in the bottom of the pump. The pump seems to be bad because it wont drain out the back hose. I have run the diswasher full cycle and put the drain hose into the sink to test. It wont drain at all now and I dont hear the pump. My dishwasher SMS 448 works up to the point in the cycle when the dispenser is supposed to dislodge the Powerball detergent. It doesn't, and the machine stops. If I open the door and click the dispenser, the Powerball falls into the dishwasher unit itself. But when I close the door, the machine doesn't operate until I turn the knob a bit farther on in the cycle. Then, no water comes out, but the knob moves on in the cycle and the heating pipes heat up

I have a Delonghi dishwasher, it's a stand alone, like a washing machine. The water inlet is connected to the hot water tap, normally used for a washing machine. Miele dishwasher makes grinding noise when turned on, there is a light on front next to inlet/drain. So I poured some boiling water into the dishwasher and then left it turned on and could feel the boiling water coming out of the drain hose so I am assuming it is an inlet problem, as it will drain but will not fill or otherwise work. There are a few small cracks in the outer hose of he inlet hose just below the grey box thing, could that be enough to cause the problem?
