Hi, we have a Bosch Exxcel dishwasher which mid way through a cycle a button saying Check Water came on. we turned the machine off and opened the door and found loads of water in the bottom. my husband then scooped all the water out and cleaned filter in the bottom, where we did find some bits of plastic from the kids yoghurt pots, and took the water hose off the back and checked for blockages, which there was none. the water is certainly coming from the water pipe through the hose as we tested

I am not getting any water out of the bottom spray arm in my bosch SGS47E02GB35 dishwasher. I have cleaned out the plastic pipe assembly on the left hand side of the machine and the plastic tubes that sit to the right of the pipes. I have blown through many of the other pipes to and dislodged quite a lot of debris which has now been cleared out of the machine. The machine completes its cycle and water comes out of the upper spray arm (there may not be as much water coming out as there should be)

Ge profile dishwasher not draining Model no. pdw9280n20ss I checked the drain line at the garbage disposal. No blockage. Line is clear. The back flow loop is high and not kinked. Only a small trickle of water comes out of the disposal drain at the end of cycle. No forceful pressure of water like before. I removed the smaller grill drain area and cannot feel any objects down in there. I do not know how to remove the larger fine mesh grill on bottom. Any suggestions?

Kitchenaid dishwasher - small pieces of food are left on otherwise clean dishes. Water level comes to about 1 inch below heater coil. I ran it without dishes (or soap) and added about a quart of water so that level came to about 1/4 inch below heater and that's when I noticed food pieces on drain surfaces (nylon filter under bottom spray arm unit and circular plastic "trap" surrounding it). Spray arms holes are clear and water is hot.

It sounds as if you figured the solution out. The holes in the spray arm(s) get plugged by small debris, (tooth picks, seeds, bits of plastic like candy wrappers, etc) and the water does not reach the dishes to wash and rinse effective ... Dishwashers

My Maytag MDBH965AWW Legacy Series 300 is making a loud grinding noise. I took off the lower spray arm and other parts below it to see if something was lodged near the chopper blade. What I found was broken plastic pieces from the bottom of the filter/flowplate assembly. All of a sudden about 1 month ago my stainless steel dishwasher started getting a strange white film on bottom which now is starting to turn crusty, It is affecting the soap dispenser badly and certain black plastic utensils being washed come out with this white film. My trusty Bosch s510 Dishwasher which has been going strong for about 17 years (at least) has just decided not to empty itself. I noticed the bottom was full of water after a wash. I have since put it through another cycle and half way through water started leaking out of the front. At the end of the cycle the bottom of the dishwasher was again full of hot 'soapy' water.
