Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

Whirllpool DU8108WKU0 Water remains up to heating elements. Cleaned drain, cleaned drain float and drain line is not kinked.

Answers :

Hi this sounds like either bad drain pump or the pump is clogged, does it make any noise when your trying to drain it? If it does its probably clogged if not its either bad or its not getting any power to the drain pump, the former being more likely, the pump is located on the side of the main sump assembly underneath the dishwasher.

Ran the dishwasher and the water didn't drain completely. Checked the drain line for clog - it was clear. Scooped out the remaining water (barely covered the flat wire mesh filter in bottonm of the machine) and cleaned off the canister mesh filter and carefully relocked the filtyer in place. Tried to run the machine last night. Soap tray opened but apparently no water cycled through the machine as all the soap was in the bottom of the machine. The heat never turned on to dry the dishes and

Water problem Hi, I have a Jenn air DW 711 that does not get water. I checked the following: Water line: I unhooked the water line and it is clear & free flowing. Float: The float moves up and down as it should. Filter: The filter inside the tub is clean. The motor runs and will drain any water in the tub I put a bucket of water in the tub and the dishwasher immediately drains no matter which setting I choose. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

EDW5500DSS wont completely drain water Okay so now that my dishwasher runs, when it finishes a cycle it has a nice puddle of water at the bottom that never drains completely out. I am assuming its a relay or something because I looked for a floating switch (did not find), I can hear a pump sound as if it wants to pump the remaining water out, but, it doesn't. I really want to solve this problem soon so I can order the new door seal and needed part together. Checked the line out and of course i

My Viking dishwasher (~2 yrs old) won't complete a cycle - it continues to run unless I run unless I turn the power off. It also doesn't drain when I change cycles like it's supposed to. I've cleaned the filters and removed the dishwaher to check drain line for kinks and to ensure it not clogged. Any other suggestions?

Maytag Model MDB7160AWW S/N 10337613WQ Symptons: Fills with water OK, shuts off water OK, does not start any cycle, or drain. After a power off/power on reset, problem remains. Flashes CLEAN & LIGHT WASH. My understanding is this is an error condition for low motor current, which makes sense as the motor never starts. I know both door switches are good (I checked them with a DVM) and both engage when the door is closed. Tripping the water float switch opens the valve and water fills the tub

Hi. I have a 3 year old LG dishwasher. It will not drain. Display shows OE. I completely cleaned the drain assembly inside the DW. I checked the discharge line, it is completely clean. I disconnected the drain line from the air vent assembly at the sink and ran the DW, still will not drain. I disconnected the discharge pump wires and ran current directly, the pump works. I replaced the main control PCB, still will not drain. Please advise. Thanks

Bad smell This is more of a general question. When I run the dishwasher there is a bad smell as it fills with water. It comes out of the sink/garbage disposal. I have cleaned out the line that comes from the garbage disposal to the drain and that doesn't stop the smell. Is there a line that needs to be cleaned from the dishwasher to the sink or how can I fix this issue? My dishwasher, at the drain, has water standing and it smells. I think it is there from condensation as the dishwasher, unknow

Magic Chef DU4K is not draining all the water. There's at least a gallon of water standing in the bottom. I have cleaned the air gap assembly and drain line completely. They were even sanitized in hot water. I do not hear the water draining like it use to. When it worked properly you could always hear water draining into the GD. Now I can hear any draining. Again, there is no clogging anywhere in the drain line assembly. Is it a bad pump. I don't know where to go next with this.

I have a Whirlpool DU810SWLQ0 that will not drain. I've pulled the unit out, snaked the drain tube, pulled the motor/pump, and pipe assemblies, and cleaned the food trap, which I also removed. Bosch Classixx dishwasher: Initially no water feed and 'water check' light came on. Removed side panel, emptied water from base. Ran OK for a week or so. The problem then repeated so side panel removed, float switch operation checked (OK) drained water from sump below polystyrene float. Ran OK but contents came out dirty and cold - no heat. Side panels off again, water in base but no obvious leak when watched during cycle - still no heat. Help please.

I have a Bosch "Classic Electronic" dishwasher that has been in use for only 18 months. If it helps - SGU53E05AU/30 is marked on top of the door.. my problem is that on the last cycle, the water won't drain so I am left with lovely clean dishes but there is water up to the drawer line present and it won't drain until the next wash. I have cleaned all the filters and ensured the pipes are not obstructed. It is odd that it only does it on the last cycle. Could it be the microchip?

Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard - will not drain at end of cycle. After cycle is complete, water (not clean) sits at the bottom of the washer but I still unload the dishes and then turn the cycle dial around again - going past all the water heating and filling and washing - and land on the drain cycle, it will drain. Any ideas why it will not drain when I let a cycle run, but will drain once I cycle it through to the drain option?
