Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

I have a Kenmore dishwasher model # 66513449K900 that will not stop running. I think it is stuck on the drain cycle. I can start the dishwasher on a cycle and it appears to clean the dishes, but after the cycle is complete, it continues running and running (on the drain cycle) until you open the door. What could this be?

Answers :

It is possible that the machine does not move off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to end the main program controller must receive the feedback so as to switch off the circuit at the end of the cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the outlet valve/pump must be checked or the fault relates to the controller. This means the program controller is a suspect as it seems to lock on , due to a hang in the system.
\015\012

Ideally it will good to have the whole system checked, start from the inlet valves, the pumps , the door switches and the motor drive. Make sure there is no voltage leaks to the main board that make up for a circuit leak at the last spin. check your ground connection or have an additional EARTHING.
\015\012

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor .
\015\012

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water .
\015\012

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Dishwasher keeps running I have a Bosche dishwasher and the water keeps running. As long as we run it and don't stop it, the pump will continue to drain about every 3 minutes. My Kenmore 16533 dishwasher all of sudden started running really loud on the wash cycle. I stopped the cycle, drained the unit, and looked for something obstructing--found nothing. Started it up, and the problem persists. The dishes do come out clean, however. The dishwasher is 6 yrs old. Is this a problem I could fix, or do I need a repairman? I have an Asko D3230 which has activated what is probably the overfilling protection and the pump continues to run. I have a bosch dishwasher SHE43C06UC22 (non-LED version). It's stuck in the drain cycle and continues to run even when opening the door (it should stop, but it doesn't). As a test, I poured a large glass of water in the bottom of the dishwasher and it drained it into the sink as it should, but it continues to run in the drain mode with no water in it. I've heard I either have a float stuck or an emergency drain switch or leak somewhere causing the dishwasher to continue in the drain mode. Ho

I have a Bosch Dishwasher, Model SHE46C06UC. No mater what cycle I start it in, it simply activates the drain and continues to run without ever starting. I've clean out the screen and drain filter, removed the pump cover to check for any debris. I've manually added water and it does drain. Additionally, the drain cycle continues to operate even with the door open.
