Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

I have a GE potscrubber Dishwasher Model # GSD3630ZZ3WW it has been leaking from the bottom for about a week. I took the bottom off tonight and ran the dishwasher so that I could see where it is leaking from. It is not a hose but the leak seems to be coming from the back of the motor or pump fan where it goes into that plastic housing that attaches to the bottom of the dishwasher seems to be leaking in the very center of that housing where the motor shaft enters the housing. Water is just spray

Leaking FDW60 I have a Hotpoint FDW60 dishwasher. yesterday it tripped our house electrics and then we had water flooding out of the dishwasher. Through a process of elimination I have now discovered that water is leaking from the drainage sump in the centre of the babse down onto the motor or other electrics. I have looked for loose hoses and there are none visible from the base of the dishwasher, can you give some ideas where the water might be coming from?

Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door. Please if you have any ideas what could be causing the problem, please let me know. Thank you

Water leaks from underneath the unit. Water only leaks when the pump cuts on (pressurizes). It leaks down on to the hose connecting to the water inlet valve on the right hand side of the unit when looking at the door of the unit. When the unit is full of water and the motor / pump is not running the unit does not leak. This unit is a Maytag jetclean dishwasher Model DWU9200BAB about 12 years old

I have GE GSD2300r00bb, it was working just fine the other day no unusual noise, today we tried to run it, just a little bit into the cycle, i heard a strange stalling noise that sound like the motor is stuck or something, i put a camera(in a ziplock bag) in the dishwasher to see if the blade is spinning, no spin, the water did squirt for about 1 sec then stop but still leaking out somewater. FDW60 dishwasher Hi My dishwasher is about 15 months old and the problem I have is that it seems to stay on pump and the Ecco45 light is flashing.  A repair company looked at the machine and said that the motor looked like it was leaking and water was getting in the bottom setting off the micro-switch.  He contacted Hotpoint who fitted a new motor today at a cost of £89.85.  Went to use dishwasher tonight and we still have the same problem.  The dishwasher started the washing programme for about

Hi, I have an AEG Favorit 525 dishwasher. It's over 20 years old, but has a panel on the front which matches the kitchen and it has done stirling service over the years. Lately, the knob has been sticking a bit mid cycle, but it has been intermittent. Last night, although the dishwasher sounds like it is working properly, it is not filling with water. Motor sounds like it is trying, but to no avail. If it was human, I would say prostate issues, but I don't think dishwashers have those. A

I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

Water seems to be leaking into the dishwasher at the end of the cycle the water appears to be clean, so I am wondering about a seal of some kind on the hot water line leaking or whatever. It is a Bosch Dishwasher SHU series 3200 My problem is the same. Water leaks in to bottom of dishwasher over about a 2-3 day period. The dishwasher runs fine. It does not ever run over. The water seems to stop entering the dishwasher after it reaches a certain level.

I have a GE dishwasher (GSD4020Y70BB) new in 1996. I replaced the whole motor assembly in 2007, seal was leaking. I took the cover off sump all clean. I removed the filter screen in the back, there appears to be a valve with some soft rubber around it. Water gushes out of this, does stop during the cyc

I just finished a service call for my 5312UC/UC12. The tecnician says he saw water leaking under neath the machine but hoses were secure and no visible crack to the motor housing, The machines pump works but very little water is actually put into the tub, hence no dishwashing. This technician says that this is a repair that most technicians avoid because it takes a long time and costs alot and violated some sort of warranty. He recommend replacement after only 7 years!
