I have a Blanco Dishwasher Model BFDWC65X. It appears that the thermostat may be faulty as the water gets extremely hot on cycle 3 which is supposed to operate at 45 degrees centigrade. When I open the door mid-cycle, clouds of steam emerge and the whole dishwasher smells hot - almost a burning smell. I have found an online source for a replacement thermostat, but would like to know how difficult a job it will be to replace the thermostat. Also where can I find a manual that details where the th

Dishwasher I have a whirlpool dishwasher that does not appear to be getting hot water. The washer water is cold initially and only seems to get warm once the heater in the base of the machine heats it. The hot water supply line does not get hot so I presume no water is being supplied. Is the water supposed to be hot at the start. If yes could this be caused be a faulty inlet valve and if so how can I check. The dishes are dirty especially on the top rack. Thanks for your help. Sounds like the heater inside the dishwasher is not working. The machine is trying to get the water up to a preset temperature, probably in the neighborhood of 140 degrees. That is one of the things that it is sensing. After the machine fi ... Dishwashers

My dishwasher is only 2 years old. My small coffee shop is in an area where we have large quantities of lime. At this point in time the repair people have been out two times and this is not fixed. There appears to be no water being pumped into the dishwasher where it will be heated prior to washing. Also the temp gauge is not working all the time. With no water entering, the small amount of water in there is rising in temperature quickly if the gauge is working. The technician that have be

FDW60 Fault Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My dishwasher starts and washes ok but appears to get very hot during the drying phase and then the two lights fast and eco flash warning of a heater problem. I suspect either the heater, thermostat or control PCB. As the rest of the cycle seems of and the water gets hot then I'm assuming the heater and thermostat are OK. When the dishwasher attempts to dry is when the problem starts. Did anyone find out what there fault was? Thanks

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

I have a Beko DE3542FS dishwasher which has stopped heating the water. I know the heater element is ok because I have had it tested. I was wondering if the thermostat was faulty if this would account for it not heating. The element has had 240v applied and becomes hot. So my reasoning is that it is either the thermostat or the programmer. Any suggestions?

You may have installed the stainless float retainer backwards. The hook on the retainer that holds the float faces the tank wall and fits into a flat on the probe. This prevents the rotation and will better secure the float. ... Hobart 42 in. AM14C-154 Free-standing Dishwasher
