How do I remove the main conduit on my GE Triton XL dishwasher? The cover inlet that traps food from going down the drain somehow came off and clogged up the drain. I got the drain cleared but cannot get the cover back on and need to move the main conduit (pipe connecting lower and upper arms) before I can get it on. Anyone know before I spend too much $ finding someone to fix it?

I'm having problems with the drain pump constantly running. I understand so far that it'll be the anti-flood device that is causing this. I've taken the dishwasher out and tipped it backwards to drain as much water out as possible but nothing comes out from anywhere ! It appears to be a sealed unit so how do I get to the appropriate part and fix it ? Cheers !

There is so much debris left on the dishes after the dishwasher has run, it's almost not worth running it. The debris is mostly small hard bits on the inside of glasses from the top shelf. Is this a drainage problem, how can I fix it?

This is a maintenance problem.. if the bits look like grains of sand it is actually food particles that breaks down during the cycle spraying the cups and glasses (usually the top shelf that gets hit worst). solution is to run a dishwasher cleaner th ... GE Dishwashers

Noisy pump This is supposedly the quietest washing machine. It is until the pump comes into operation. It pumps incessantly for up to ten minutes before the spin operates and it is extremely noisy. I have had an Hotpoint engineer visit and he brusquely said that this is normal. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known this. My previous Zanussi was much better. Was the engineer correct?

It depends on the design, the way it is mounted on the machine matters a lot.Sometimes pump makes noise due air trapping. Check your water flow. Add 10 liters of water in the chamber direct and close the door. start the machine in usual w ... Dishwashers

I can see water coming in from the side inlet, but the error seems to appear once it reaches the inlet for the sprayers. Perhaps the sprayer pipe is blocked? I have a Whirlpool DU920PFGQ1 installed in the house I recently purchased. There is a gross smell coming from it, and based on other things have I found in the house, I believe that the previous owner didn't do much maintenence. Is there a filter or screens that could be clogged? The inside of the machine is gross; running vinegar through it has not helped. Can you point me in the direction of an owners manual?

The dishwasher makes a horribly loud sound when running. I think it has to do with the lower "spinner arm". When I push it manually, it wobbles and makes noise. So I am guessing that spinning at higher speeds would cause much more noise. Can I fix it?

Bosch KGV2620GB/03 Hi, I have a Bosch KGV2620GB/03 fridge freezer (bottom freezer, free-standing, the product listed below isn't right) and the light in the fridge won't switch off when the door closes. The "clean" light blinks 8 times, then there is a pause, then it blinks once. The dishes are clean but not dry, as if it has not completed the drying cycle. We had an engineer out to fix it who said it was the circuit board and that the blinking light code indicated "too much suds", he replaced the circuit board, but it didn't make any difference. It's an intermittent problem: sometimes the machine completes its cycle OK. I ran it with just vinegar and nothing else in (no detergent, no dishe

Brown scum accumulates under the large circular aluminum plates on the bottom of the drawers. Has to be cleaned out every 1-2 weeks. We have never had a dishwasher that required so much maintenance.
