A noisy door can be of two different types. 1) is caused by hinges (2 or 3) Just put a few drops between hinge's segments and wipe off. Since you don't know which hinge is faulty oil them all.
2 ) is caused by door rubbing against floor or door frame. This requires the door to be removed and side rubbing (showing wear)

The door has always made a horrible noise that I could not get to go away (I shot some WD40 into all available places). I learned to live with the noise. NOW, the spring on the door has obviously broken. I am afraid someone will open the dishwasher and hurt a small child with the falling door! I see where you addressed the broken spring problem. Do you think I could fix the horrible noise at the same time? Do you think this is something my husband could fix?

Noisy dishwasher My dishwasher is about 2 years old and about 98% of the time it makes a very loud growl/rumbling noise in the wash and rinse cycles. I have checked to make sure that it is not clogged and open the door during the cycle but can't pinpoint where the noise is coming from. Sometimes it runs with no noise but that is not usually the case. Any thoughts?

This is a known issue for GE dishwashers and may be similar for other\015\012models too.  The fix is simple.  The noise is due to\015\012vibration of the arm for the middle sprayer.  Just secure it with\015\012a tie wrap or wire and th ... Dishwashers

Noisy dishwasher my Kenmore quietguard 4 has developed an exceptionally loud hum/buzzing noise seemingly coming from the door of the dishwasher, when closed, locked and put on either drain or wash cycle. If the unit is allowed to sit for 1-2 days, the drain cycle will empty the tub without the buzzing noise starting. If anything else is attempted afterwards, like a wash cycle, the noise immediatley starts at a low level, then becomes steadily louder, until the full volume is reached, and does not

I opened the door panel and found an electronic control circuit board. It is this board that is making the noise. I unplugged the black and white pair of wires on the lower right side of the board and the noise stopped. this must supply power to board. Anyone know what this problem is?

I own a Miele G977 Plus dishwasher. There is what looks like a vent at the top left corner of the door. During the course of a wash a noise that sounds like a fan comes from this vent. Hi Tom, welcome to Fixya.\015\012\015\012The issue is likely just the blower and housing drain hose blocked with "crude" from time & use. If you take the door panel off ( watch those edges they are VERY sharp ) and unfasten the control panel as well ... Dishwashers

We have a MDB4651AWW dishwasher. It is very loud, we have the bottom front panel that seals the dishwasher at the floor but cannot figure out how to install it. One way it does not fit, the other way it won't let the door open and close properly. The noise is terrible and it has been that way for three years. We don't believe there is anything wrong with the dishwasher, figure the bottom panel will deaden the sound. can you show us how it goes?

When we open the dishwasher door, it produces a very loud metalicsqueeking sound- like something is rubbing or binding. The door is not catching on anything externally, and there doesn't seem to be resistance to opening or closing. I have lubricated all the external parts- pully, cable, etc, with silicon spray, but the sound continues. It is difficult to pinpoint the exact location- obviously at the bottom of door. What must I do to correct the squeeky noise? Thanks for your help!

I have a Rebadged Siemens dishwasher model no. SE6TIE1GB / 13 TKD 795 / 2. When turning on, the dishwasher makes the "normal" noise of washing but after less than a minute it stops and refuses to wash anything. Ive tried pressing the reset button but no help. Worth mentioning, the night prior to that, I switched on the dishwasher before sleeping and when waking up at 5am, it was still washing so I manually turned it off and opened the door to find some water at the bottom of the tray.
