I have a Bosch she44c dishwasher that I used just this morning. This afternoon I went to turn it on and a fuse in the panel box tripped. Is there something in the dishwasher that could go bad that quickly or is it most likely something else? Every time I reset the fuse and turned on the dishwasher, it tripped again. My serviceman has given up on finding a solution. He has replaced the control board and the door switch. However it continues blowing the fuse. The fuse in the plug keeps blowing. Initially it would run for a while - sometimes 3 or 4 cycles - before blowing. It now blows the fuse the second that I plug in to the socket, even with the on/off button on the front of the dishwasher set to off.I'm keen to take it apart, but it's full of water as it blew mid-cycle. Is there a clever way to empty the machine without the power being on, or do I need bits of hose and sponges?A schematic blow up would also be extremely helpful.

Lower the outlet hose into a washing up bowl, it should then Drain. Check the heater to see if it is earthing you get to it by removing the right hand side panel. ... Hotpoint 24 in. FDW60 Free-standing Dishwasher

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

Are you replacing the wires along with the fuse? It is important to change the wires too as they are usually the cause for the fuse blowing. Be sure and get the fuse kit that includes the wires. \015\012\015\012Is your water too hot? Hot ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

The likely cause of this is a failed heater element which would cause the fuse to blow. You will need to get the heater element checked out and replaced if necessary.
