The water does not draing after the dishwasher is completed its cycle. Just sits on the bottom

Answers :

Some water in the bottom is normal but if it is inches deep and threatening to over flow you can disconect the power and remove the drain cover. Check for obstructions. If you do not find any obstructions the discharge valve may be sticking. If you open the lower front cover you can look and see if the lever is moving freely by turning the power back on and open and close the washer door. you will here a click when the relay engages and should be able to follow it to the lever.

Each time we run the machine the water level drains back to the normal amount in the bottom of the washer after the cycle is complete.
