I recently had the e4 error code on my new world dw60 dishwasher. I have since opened it up and replaced the heater element, which appears to have resolved that issue. However, in the process of doing this I incorrectly installed the flood switch back into place, meaning that it was in its closed position (i.e. the position it would be when activated by a flooded base) when I went to turn the dishwasher back on. I have since opened it back up and correctly installed the flood switch, but I ca

My dishwasher came with styrofoam placed between the top and the inside , a foam sheet and cardboard screwed to the back. Is this the packaging and does it need to be removed before installation? The picture in the instruction manual does not advise you to unscrew the back packaging. Even though I attempted to remove the foam sheet it is stuck under the sides at the back of the dishwasher.

Installing a built-in LG dishwasher; got everything ready to go, but a problem with the hot water line coming in. It is barely long enough to reach to the front where I've installed the elbow. Since I have to back the dishwasher in to the 24 in. hole there is no room for error in terms of not running over this hose with the bottom of the dishwasher. Any tricks to handling this situation?

Hi, best way would be to install a "spring" attached to the back of the dishwasher. The hose would connect to that and easily "pull-away" when moving or "pull-tight" taking up the slack. A much simpler method is to tie a piece of string to the hot wa ... Kenmore 24 in. 17482 / 17484 / 17489 Built-in Dishwasher

I have a whirlpool gold model GU1500 diswasher. When the rinse cycle ends the water pumps out into the garbage disposal like it should, but then water backs-up from somewhere into the bottom of the dishwasher. The overfill protection drain seems OK...the water doesn't overflow. It doesn't have a air gap on the sink. The drain hose goes directly from the dishwasher to the inlet on the garbage disposal. It appears to be properly installed per the installation instructions. The washer is about 4 ye

Brand new dishwasher, installed last week. When it is done there is quite a lot of water standing in the bottom of the tub. It has only been run 2 times since installed and both times several inches of water were left standing. Is this something we could check or do I need to have the installer come back, which will probably take a week at least. Oh-KitchenAid #KUDC031VWH

Ignis ADL347 integrated dishwasher runs for a few seconds then stops, beeps and light flashes 6 times. I'm told this is due to water not getting into the dishwasher. it was working perfectly until we had a washing machine installed, can't see any pipes that are twisted or crushed but also don't have great access to the back of the washing machine or dishwasher. I have no expertise whatsoever. What should I be checking/trying? Any advice appreciated.

I just purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher model #KUDS30FXSS. My contractor is now installing the cabinets and brought to my attention that the venting on this dishwasher (which is in the front on the left hand side) has been known to warp cabinets. Hi, We have a Frigidaire dishwasher machine 1500 series with fully electronic control. It is a new unit, has been installed nearly 4 months ago. The other day, when I went to take the dishes out of it, I notice that the rubber gasket that seals the door had come off somehow. Along with it I saw, sitting on the bottom, two pieces that looked like part of the seal, but I didn't know where they came from. I put the rubber gasket back on, but now the pieces and now the dishwasher will leak when runn

I installed a new bocsh dishwasher and garbage disposal. The water is not draining. I routed the drain hose on the floor rather than looping it up the back of the dishwasher, due the short lenght of drain hose.

I am trying to replace the GUIDE RAIL BRACKET ASM on my GE dishwasher (model no. GSM1800JWW). I have a Bosch SHU8805UC/14 dishwasher. I took the front door panel off to install it better but ended up with two extra pieces that look like either part 935400 Door Guard, or 935526 Support.
