Removed rear toe-plate to detect leak. Leak caused by broken drain hose. Hose replaced. To do this the unit was tipped forward onto its front door to allow access to the base area. Water allowed to drain out the front base area. Unit re-assembled but now does not switch on. Water connected. Base-plate dry. No water was detected at upper-front control panel. Power is connected and reaching unit ( multi-meter test ). Tipping the unit forward seems to be the cause. Is there any fuse,

The micro switches are frequently replaced on the door handle and they don't need to ever get wet. A lot of amp draw burns those switches up while they are dry. If they were wet and power was applied then they got fried my friend. The good news is th ... Dishwashers

I have a Miele 24 in. Asko Dishwasher starts the cycle by pumping out as it should. But does not stop pumping nor advances. If I click it forward manually it starts to fill and then before overfilling goes into pump out without washing then just repeats this. Pressure switch tubes and air trap chambers are clean and no leak to trip spill switch. I'm guessing It is either the timer or faulty pressure switch any clues ???

Leaking FDW60 I have a Hotpoint FDW60 dishwasher. yesterday it tripped our house electrics and then we had water flooding out of the dishwasher. Through a process of elimination I have now discovered that water is leaking from the drainage sump in the centre of the babse down onto the motor or other electrics.
