FDW60 dishwasher Hi My dishwasher is about 15 months old and the problem I have is that it seems to stay on pump and the Ecco45 light is flashing.  A repair company looked at the machine and said that the motor looked like it was leaking and water was getting in the bottom setting off the micro-switch.  He contacted Hotpoint who fitted a new motor today at a cost of £89.85.  Went to use dishwasher tonight and we still have the same problem.  The dishwasher started the washing programme for about

I've just (as of 10 minutes ago) had the same problem. I followed the advice given elsewhere in this forum and removed the bottom cover - water running out so needed a big towel to mop it up. I stood the machine upright and restarted it - no problem! ... Hotpoint 24 in. FDW60 Free-standing Dishwasher

Last couple of days bottom rack of dishwasher not been clean on 65o wash, having emptied and run the machine empty etc it seems that whilst there is water being pumped through the roof mounted vents and to the "spinner" attached to the upper tray, the spinner attached to the base of the machine is not getting a) any / b) sufficent water pressure to make it spin...im guessing the feed is blocked?

Shu9925uc/14 bosch dishwasher leaves standing water in the bottom of the pump. The pump seems to be bad because it wont drain out the back hose. I have run the diswasher full cycle and put the drain hose into the sink to test. It wont drain at all now and I dont hear the pump. Perhaps unrelated: Pump seemed to stop working after the back hose disconnected itself from the back of the unit spilling water all over the floor. When I reconnected the unit to the wall the pump now seems to be disfunct

Hi, I have an LG LDS4821 dishwasher and it appears to stop working properly. The dishes don't seem to be cleaned at all. It seems like the spray arms are not spraying the dishes as the dishes are still dry/dirty after a normal wash cycle. I did notice that the detergent was used during the wash, and a trail of white residue was at the bottom of the tub. I can hear water pumping into the dishwasher, but when I opened it during a wash cycle, there was a puddle of water at the bottom of the

I have the two drawer dishwasher. It's about 10 years old. The top drawer continues to work OK but for the last three attempts when I run the bottom drawer water gets out into the drip pan below and gives the F1 signal. I can dry the drip pan out and clear the F1 signal so the top drawer works. But running the bottom drawer causes water to leak again with the resultant F1 signal. There is very little water in the bottom drawer (just a little in the filter bowl) so I think the pump is pumping

I have a GE potscrubber Dishwasher Model # GSD3630ZZ3WW it has been leaking from the bottom for about a week. I took the bottom off tonight and ran the dishwasher so that I could see where it is leaking from. It is not a hose but the leak seems to be coming from the back of the motor or pump fan where it goes into that plastic housing that attaches to the bottom of the dishwasher seems to be leaking in the very center of that housing where the motor shaft enters the housing. Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't seem to fill with enough water despite good water pressure. Therefore, pump sounds like it is cycling from pumping water for about 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds to pumping water for 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds, etc. Spray arms rotate only for the 2 seconds when pump is actually pumping water. Dishes do not get clean.

Dishwasher model: se6 tie1 Fitted under kitchen work-top. Problem: After setting a program & switching on & closing door ? there is a normal sound from within but if door is opened there is no evidence of water being pumped in. The dishwasher doesn't seem to have nearly enough water in it. The upper sprayer arm doesn't seem to be spinning when running (I open the door and look really quick) and the lower one looks like it barely spins and barely sprays water. The dishes are barely wet and the soap is just laying on the bottom. The water is on, there are no kinks in the supply line. It sounds like it is running, and pumps pumping, but being brand new I am not sure what it should sound like. It certainly doesn't sound li

I have the E3 error on my Smeg DWI614 dishwasher which would indicate a heater error, however it is heating the water in the bottom of the machine but it seems to time out. The main issue seems to be that the recirc. pump is not running during the heating phase. I have taken the pump out, checked the connections etc. twice now and everything seems fine (the motor runs when tested). When I have done this (both times) the dishwasher has started again and run for 20+ cycles fine, then the issue com

I have a Bosch dishwasher, M# SHU3035UC/U12. After the cycle is finished, the water is still on bottom of machine, it doesn't pump it out, so I changed the pump. Now when it washes, it fills and washes, when the timer advances it dies, there is no noise and nothing happens, the only way that I get the machine to pump water is by lifting the red overflow lever. Only then does it pump out the water. what can be my problem?

Hi There,\015\012\015\012Your description seems to indicate a fault in the water heating circuit or components. This is often the reason for a wash cycle not finishing and draining. As the machine will drain when you lift the overflow lev ... Dishwashers

GE PDW7300 dishwasher - must slam the door shut to get a light on the panel and when the START button is pressed, it looks like the dishwasher is cycling thru a wash, but there is no water. When I press the START cycle again, it seems like it thinks its pumping the water out for a few minutes, then the light will go off. If I start it again and push really hard against the door, I can hear the water go on. But if I stop pushing the door, the water stops. The dishwasher was installed in 2001, but

My SGS55M72AU/65 does not get rid of its drain water, although that wee pump in the bottom is clearly working (which I could see after removing filters and pump cover). There is no blockage near the drain pipe connection, so I infer there is a blockage somewhere inside the dishwasher, in a place I can't get to without further instruction. I've removed most of the drain water and pulled the unit out, so I could lay it on its side and start taking screws out. But I much prefer to have some guidanc

Recently our GU1100XTLQ1 started having a problem. It barely cleans the bottom rack, and barely gets top rack wet. The soap stays stuck in the dispenser. I can't see inside as it runs, but my guess is that not enough water is being shot out of the various spinning arms. From looking at diagrams it would appear that this dishwasher uses a pump to circulate water from the bottom of the cavity through the spinning arms. Is my problem a dying pump?

Hi I went away on holiday and my dishwasher AEG 50800 was in perfect order. When I came back after three weeks it does not work. It was not in use while I was away so I don't get how come it is not working now .It does start up but its like the pump is just not kicking in. Ihear water running but the blades dont move and nothing seems to get washed, any ideas. Or is a new expensive pump my only option? My Husband seems to think a seal might have gone. Can a seal go while not in use? Thanks
